Excellent welcome, freshly cooked breakfast, beautifully clean room with sea view. Could just have done with a power socket next to the bed, otherwise perfect.

Beautiful room with a lovely view over the sea. Spacious room,modern bathroom. Very nice and welcoming staff. Easy parking on the street outside the hotel for an extra fee.
A nice restaurant across the road, a 10 min walk to other restaurants and pubs through a bit wornout and quiet streets (i wouldn't feel completely safe walking there alone at night). Most shops and restaurants are in the opposite end of the town, best to reach by car or taxi (not a problem during daytime to walk if you like a good walk).
Will definently recommend this hotel if you're bringing a car, and you don't want to be surrounded by restaurants, cafes and nightclubs.

Beautiful Guest house. Great location. Exceptionally clean with modern ensuite rooms. Excellent Breakfast with very friendly and helpful staff running the Helaina guest house.

What an amazing find, an off the cuff booking whilst up north.
A beautifully decorated building with amazing views, backed by a warm host and friendly staff

This is a fantastic hotel which me and my wife would thoroughly recommend. Owner Jill could not have been more helpful, with a room upgrade. Cooked Breakfast was hot, and the fruit selection first class. You would find some of the other hotels more expensive and offer you a lot less. This hotel was first class all the way.

The only B&B to stay at in Scarborough as far as we’re concerned. If i could rate it higher i would. The Penthouse is amazing in every respect and worth every penny.

A hotter more powerful shower would have been better (maybe user incompetence) but i'll still rate as a 5* as well the cleanliness, for me the plus was the b&b operate a hassle free leave you alone to enjoy your stay attitude, but the staff were quickly there when you needed them to be. Neil.

The hotel but were aware of this on booking, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all you would require for a short weekend stay and excellent value for money at a peak time.
