The Pinewood Hotel

The walls were paper thin you could hear everything, every time someone opened and closed the door to the annex building. The toilet leaked, the bed was sunken on one side. Overall, not a great experiance.

My stay was horrific. I paid £155 for this room. The carpets were filthy. The bed was broken. The bath didn’t drain correctly. The overflow on the bath was leaking so the water was going down into the room underneath the TV didn’t work not good at all Very run Down.

Dinner finishes at 8pm/ there is no room service. I was with my daughter for an early appointment and the tv wasn't working in either of our rooms, the staff said they'd help but then didn't. We had planned to watch tv and get room service and have an early night this wasn't possible. I upgraded us both to an executive room both were disabled rooms and both carpets were disgustingly filthy. My bathroom was very dirty and the shower sprayed everywhere as it was clogged with dirt. We went to have breakfast and my cutlery had food on and after the whole experience we couldn't face the food and left and had breakfast elsewhere, I am still waiting for my breakfasts to be refunded as we didn't have them. This is the first hotel I've stayed in on expedia that I would encourage them to remove, it definitely isn't a 4 star I would give it 2 but then with an expectation they clean the carpets and mould and have a better kitchen hygiene.

Booked an overnight stay before flying from Heathrow. Lovely peaceful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff all very friendly , single room but was plenty big enough. Parked right outside hotel . Restaurant food was really good . Only took me 20 mins to get to Heathrow the next morning , feeling relaxed and refreshed. Would highly recommend

Power outage meant room was unavailable until midnight. After being given room there was already another male occupant. Hotel now continues to ignore emails. Avoid.

We had originally booked in for just one night (Monday) but decided to extend our stay to 3 nights, we had to call the hotel to do this. Unfortunately the night check in, after an incredibly long and hot day, when we arrived we heard very loud music and a number of teenagers in the car park and surrounding area. We were told there was a prom being held. The music would end at 23:00. We went to our room, and of course with the weather being so hot the windows were open. The air conditioning did not appear to work, but there was a small fan in the room. It was uncomfortably hot, and incredibly noisy. The music ended at 23:30. The next day we asked if there was another prom before we left. There was another on Wednesday, which was our last night. The music ended at about 22:45. I do not have an issue with the proms being held, what I do have an issue with is not being told. It must have been known at the time of booking, Knowing we were going to have 2/3 full on busy days, we really wanted to relax and sleep,once we were back in our room. We would have with a degree of certainty not chosen to stay here. Other than that, the staff were pleasant. The room was clean.

Extremely hot room, secondary glazing meant very small window opening, AC gave no cooling, shower screen didn't open, toilet would not flush, TV remote failed to operate TV, school prom (which no one had advised when we booked) still generating noise at 12:15am. "Executive double" smaller than smallest travellodge. Staff uninterested. For first time in 35years, left hotel before sleeping! Total waste of money.

Easy parking and easy to check in, close to work.

Nothing to fault in the hotel, there was a wedding going on but I couldn't hear it from my room in the e main building(they told me the music would finish at midnight). The breakfast waiter was 20 minutes late (08:20) so had to wait a bit to get tea but the chef had most things under control. Very good English breakfast bufet , quality sausages and bacon. They cook them in the pizza oven right in front of you.
