Returning customer. Love it here! Fine food, nice staff, beautiful venue and location. A+++

Shower and sink were blocked water didn’t drain away quickly enough and the bathroom floor was one big puddle. Breakfast table was so sticky the cutlery was actually stuck to the table. Table was dirty from diners the night before. I could go on but to be honest very average.

Dinner in the pub was great. Cooked breakfast was served very quickly and was fantastic. As a surveyor, is say that extract fan not working in the ensuite to Room 4 will mean that the room will get a musty smell if not sorted. Would come back certainly. B

We needed accommodation after attending a wedding nearby . We were able to drop by in the morning and collect a key to let ourselves in later on as we were going to arrive late at night after reception closed. The lady who showed us how to let ourselves in was also working in the breakfast room the next morning and was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked and presented. We had a very comfortable night's sleep and a lovely shower with nice thick fluffy towels. Will definitely come back next time to try their lunch menu as the outside gardens looked lovely

Good location for a few days visiting the area. Good size room and shower room. Drawback being just how noisy ground floor room was. Could hear everything from the room above along with traffic passing close by

Pleasant enough hotel although I wouldn’t call boutique. Breakfast average. Bedroom cold and noisy. Shower good and comfortable bed. Wouldn’t return although staff were lovely.

Place wasn’t very clean with stains in various places. Food was good and staff were very helpful

The Ragged.Cot is a lovely place. A little out of the way, for walk to locations, but an excellent restaurant is on site and it is close to other locations if driving. I enjoyed my stay.

Lovely reception as we were running late due to the RIAT event. We called ahead to let them know we were en route & that we may be a few minutes late for our meal time in the restaurant, but the team were so welcome & confirmed it was fine.

Very cosy but modernized historic property! Had its own pub and restaurant serving delicious food and drink, and our hotel room included a cooked to order hot breakfast. It’s in a quiet countryside but with easy access to towns for any needed supplies. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Only stayed 1 night but felt welcomed and relaxed throughout. The room (no.6) was quirky & spacious with a good size ensuite shower room. Plenty if storage (not that we needed it), tea & coffee facilities and toiletries, oh and a hairdryer! Our only negative would be the noise from the road but that can't be helped in this location. We woukd recommend the Ragged Cot to everyone.

Quirky, old renovated inn. A small number of bedrooms makes the Ragged Cot a great short stay destination. Rooms are not large but more than adequate. Coffee/tea in room. Nice toiletries, crisp cotton sheets. We had Sunday lunch which was excellent. Breakfast included also very good. Good Wi-Fi and lots of on-site free parking. The only small issue that we encountered was that on this occasion we had a ground floor room. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by the guests upstairs moving around.. we have visited on a number of occasions and will return soon.
