We arrived very early in the morning and the desk clerk gave us a free room upgrade for both of the rooms we'd booked so we could check in way before the 3:00 check in time, which was hugely appreciated!

昨年に引き続き2回目の宿泊です。スタッフは皆親切で良い滞在でした。朝食のペストリーはとても美味しかったです。また是非このホテルに滞在したいです。リッチモンド駅まで徒歩5分くらい。近くにスーパーがあり便利です。部屋に冷蔵庫はありませんが、ワインなどは冷蔵庫で冷やしてくれます。

Very kind and accommodating staff. Rooms were expectedly small but clean and well appointed. The location was great for walking to the train and sites. Would stay here again.

Staff were fantastic! When there was an issue with the tv in our room Richard the manager had us switched to another room very quickly, no questions asked. Thanks again!

no shower gel in the bathroom as usual for the third time third visit no tissue box in the room or in the bathroom, at a certain level of hotel a tissue box is expected. Room very noisy from above and from the corridor, other parts of the hotel the walls and or ceiling are better insulated. I wish there was an elevator to get to the same level the room is at, I always get a room where there are stairs and with heavy luggage it can be difficult

The Selwyn Hotel could be a really super hotel. Some of it is lovely and we were very happy in part. However, when we arrived in our room, the previous occupant had left clothes in the wardrobe. Which suggests the room was not cleaned well enough before our arrival. We let reception know, they came & removed the clothes but also took all the hangers - which left us with nowhere to hang our clothes. We then decided to watch tv, but the tv did not work - no satellite connection. Someone came to check it, but it wouldn’t work. We didn’t really get an apology and we were not offered any recompense, which was disappointing. It’s a shame as it’s a beautiful hotel - with a bit more care it would be excellent. Or at least if something does go wrong, they should take appropriate actions for better customer service - for example they still charged us £20 for parking when we left, when they could have waived that fee.

Great location to train and downtown Richmond! Room was small but clean and updated.

Courteous reception staff, stylish property and comfortable room. Bedroom was quite small for the price. Great location. Less than 10min walk from Richmond station and a 30min walk to Kew Gardens.

Everything about our stay at the Selywn was perfect, the breakfast choice was very varied and all delicious. Rooms clean and very comfortable. All the staff where excellent and very helpful and happy to help in anyway.

We have enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Selwyn - the hotel is perfectly located for access to Richmond and the station, the rooms are clean and very well decorated, however the standout is the staff who are lovely and welcoming. We want to especially thank Kelly the receptionist who was kind enough to upgrade our room and also left a birthday card in our room which was such a thoughtful touch! The general manager is also very friendly and attentive and both went out of their way to make our stay memorable. This has become our go to hotel for when we stay in London and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others!
