Nice hotel with friendly staff. You do have to go to sister hotel next door if you want bar or restaurant/breakfast.

Great place and nice staff

Very very very nice hotel, its quite luxury for knowing nothing about the hotel in city. The parking on the other hand 20 pounds a day for parking was very very steep. I never saw anywhere where it mentioned that it cost this much. I feel the parking for this proce would have had more security like a garage door that closed.

Air conditioning did not work in the room

Excellent stay - clean and good sized room with everything you’d need for a weekend stay. About 1 hours walk from centre of Cambridge but easily accessible by a short bus journey as well. Would recommend.

Based on my two trips to Turing Locke, I don't think the company and staff can be trusted. The accommodation is advertised with certain basic services - indeed "no more sweaty nights" is on the front of the website. But when this is broken, and broken for months/years, clients are not told. I checked in on one of the hottest days in May on history. It was hotter in the next few days. But on check-in I was not told the air-conn across the hotel was broken. It was also broken 2 years ago when I stayed – the control unit gives strange messages which makes one thing it is user error – but it turns out it is centrally broken. No ability to cool (or heat), and from the reviews this has been happening for >6 months. I think 2 years given the same problem happened last time I stayed. Customers are not told the room will be too hot to sleep in before they arrive. They are not told when they check in. They need to contact reception to ask why it is so hot, at which point it is admitted the hotel is not up to the advertised standard. No offer of help to make it less unpleasant, no offer of fans or ice or ... anything. Full price costs for a room so hot it is not clearly safe (especially for small children and the elderly). On check out I was asked "how was your stay". I said "well of course, it as far too hot". Reception said "yes, but other than that has was your stay". This was indication the staff don't care about how 6 nights of poor to no sleep impacts a person on a work trip!

Early checkin was an awful experience, we called ahead and confirmed we would like to book early checkin, we were told we could arrive at 2pm. When we arrived there was no sign of early checkin and we were told they can clean a room but they had no idea how long it would take. When returning at 3:30pm we got our room and had to pay full early checkin price. The garden terrace was overgrown and we could barely open the door. The weed smokers in the open courtyard at night ruined the experience of sitting in a peace. The space was nice, but there were signs of a lot of water damage.

Very poor check in experience and all rooms had no air con due to a fault that customers weren’t aware of unless they complained seemingly. Had to beg for a fan but didn’t really help in such high temperatures. Oven didn’t work and had no utensils. Asked for help didn’t get any Parking is extremely limited. Parking at local park and ride is better

Could use a better cleaning of bathroom and floors besides that pretty good

Lovely safe place to stay very clean and modern

This hotel smell amazing!! Rooms (suite) beautiful decorated with everything you need. Staff are so friendly and helpful didn’t book for breakfast so can comment on that. Bed was vey comfortable and the area has lovely cafe, shop and restaurant highly recommend a stay here. Will definitely be back.
