Hotel is very tired and in need of some serious modernisation - the bathroom particularly - the shower pressure was low and the temperature was hot, or hot. not great for £90 a night

Good breakfast. Good parking.

Excellent location in quiet part of the town. Plenty of parking available. Separate from the pub close by, which serves food all day and where you take breakfast. Quick check in. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Lovely, helpful and considerate staff. Excellent parking. Convenient location for Bank Quay station.

Rooms very dated and need a good overhaul, carpets stained and holes in. Bathroom tiles/grout dirty, shower gel had run out. Parking is ok, seemed to be enough spaces and car park well lit. Staff were friendly. Wasn't the cheapest option either!

I actually don’t know where to start. Room was clean and my daughter actually found crackers under one of the beds! The toilet wouldn’t flush unless you flushed is over 5 times fast and even then it was a half flush. The light in the hall is on censors with a big gab under the door so every time someone would walk the hall, the light would come in and light the room up in the middle of the night. There was a light outside the window, again on censor and would light up the room due to there being no blinds and the curtains didn’t do anything to help this. The put up bed my daughter was suppose to sleep on was so uncomfortable. The mattress wasn’t covered with the correct size sheet and the mattress must of been so old that you could feel the bars through it. Only positive from the experience was the breakfast. This was lovely with a great choice for both children and adults. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Room size was very good. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was first class.

Room was really dated ,.felt old and tired . Really felt uncomfortable getting a shower . No pressure and shower hanging off the wall . Waiting to here back from management for a part refund

I am writing an email to complain about an incident which occurred at your hotel when I stayed on the 20/2/26 myself and my mum had driven up to pick my 4 year old up for the weekend and decided to stay at your hotel the waterside hotel during our stay we were disturbed twice by one of your fire alarms so we had to evacuate the building in doing so we all had to wait outside during a brief inspection by the fire brigade we were allowed back into the hotel and back into our rooms. So after trying to settle down a second time going on for 11.50pm we were woken again by another fire alarm this time I walked out of the room and one of your colleagues said it’s ok it’s a false alarm we have a temporary fault with the alarm so the engineer is coming out etc. I was not only annoyed but I had to comfort my 4 year old daughter who was quite traumatized by the whole situation. I had to also calm my 75 year old mum down as she was very stressed by the whole situation. I understand that it’s not your fault but the second alarm however really annoyed me because I think to myself shouldn’t you have your alarms tested on a regularly basis etc. we had a terrible nights sleep myself my mum and my 4 year old daughter. Having stayed at your hotel a few times I was quite surprised by the lack of empathy from your staff when the second alarm went off. I explained the situation to a staff member on Saturday morning and she said she would pass on details when we went to check out on Sunday I asked

Excellent staff and a brilliant breakfast. Loads of car parking, however our room was a bit tired. But the amazing staff and breakfast makes up for the tired room. A clean functional hotel.

The room was spacious with TV, coffee & tea making facilities, hair dryer and fan. The bed was comfortable and clean Only thing that could be improved is the mold staining in the bathroom, makes the room look dirty. The checknin was quick and easy and the breeakfast amazing

The staff are always friendly and polite. The room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable.

Room very clean. Check-in OK once I went to the residential building, not the restaurant building. Facilities good with one exception - no power outlets near to beds to charge phone overnight.

Basic room was cold on arrival and no heating other than a small oiled filled radiator. Shower ran cold for a long time and produced a sprinkle rather than shower it was supposed to be. There was no ironing board which for me is essential. Other than that everything else was there and the breakfast was reasonable in the main building.
