Whittlebury Hall Hotel & Spa

Reception were unaware of half board and took a while to sort, same again when we went for dinner restaurant were not aware. Bar that hotel was great and staff were nice and attentive.

Great spa facilities and food in the bar and Astons was delicious. Room could do with modernisation.

This feel very far below what I had expected from the listing and to stress any one other things wouldn’t have upset me but it was the list. 1. The jacuzzi was out of service 2. The bed was terrible 3. the smart TV wasn’t smart and only the regular tv part worked 4. There was no attention to detail (a blown bulb in the room) 5. The safe was locked shut 6. The view from the room was all messy 7. One of the bulbs had gone 8. The shower was a weak dribble and unusable. But here is why I was really annoyed in the bathroom was a sign all printed and on a folded card as if effort was taken and it wasn’t a recent thing tha said “ we occasionally experience water pressure problems. Should you experience this please contact reception immediately.” If you can go to all that trouble to make a nice sign why in a four star hotel can’t you get the problem fixed. Totally embarrassing if you ask me. I told reception and they knew nothing about it. The main building is nice, the food was nice but a bit over priced if you ask me for what it was. Had I paid a lot less and this was marketed as a 3 star hotel I would probably not have been disappointed but I expected better and it fell short. We booked a double room in the Annex Building.

I stayed in the annex which was lovely. Large room and spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Fabulous breakfast with lots of choices

Staff are friendly enough and tried their best, but when you have a dirty room and stained mattresses that you’d prefer to put in the skip, it’s not ideal. There’s an awful loud humming that’s vibrated through the whole room and made it impossible to sleep. The room is not as advertised and I couldn’t recommend anyone stay here to be honest. Writing this at 00:40 hours because there’s no option to switch rooms and if I could drive home this minute, I would!

I always stayed in the annexe building which is about 3 min walk to the main hotel. Large room with a big bathroom with walk-in shower. Breakfast plentyfull and tasty. On th edge of Silverstone circuit and only about 7 min drive to the circuit. gym and swim excellent. Never used a spa so can't comment.

The room itself was good. For size we were lucky compared to our friends. We had a ground floor room in the paddocks which was twice the size of the 1st floor room our friends had. The lighting in our room was rubbish, the bathroom light was censored so after drinking terrible Guinness here time spent on the toilet wasn’t great in the dark! The refreshments in the room were ok. Ideally a large bottle of water would have been great instead of 2 little cans of water. The alcohol was very expensive and probably the worse Guinness I’ve ever had. Very watered down, took ages to settle. The staff were all friendly. That I can’t say bad about. The only thing I’d say about the staff is they were all very young and couldn’t pour a pint very well giving you half a glass of froth. It’s a very over priced venue in my humble opinion. Everything has gone up in price everywhere but, some modernising would warrant the expense.

The room in the annex was great, the bed comfortable and had everything we needed. The facilities were amazing, we really enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam room and gym. Buffet breakfast was included with the room and was delicious too!

Staff excellent. Room ok. Dinner well presented and lovely staff. Breakfast was disgusting. I didn’t have cooked breakfast. Croissants were very hard and nasty. Pain au Chocolate hard, tough and nasty. Coffee from a machine, self service was horrible. Nothing better than a truck driver’s cafe (apologies to truck drivers. I stayed here ten years ago and the breakfast hasn’t improved at all. Disgusting is too complimentary

Room clean but a little tired in look, hairdryer not working. Staff friendly and efficient. Food very good.

Hotel looks amazing, Jack from reception was lovely, The Padocks is awful, loud and horrible, Spa is nice, pool is cold.

Whole hotel needs a facelift/some TLC, staff were excellent however other guests were less than considerate keeping us awake until 4.30 am on the first night

Our room had been double booked. Why?? I need an explanation as to what happened. It completely ruined our stay. My spa treatment was a waste of time as I was unhappy and stressed.l by that point. Another waste of money I can’t get back. You go to a spa hotel for relaxation. It was anything but.

Room was outdated, drawers wouldn’t stay closed, the shower was appalling - doesn’t get hot, only warm and that takes 5 minutes to come through, didn’t drain either. Asked housekeeping for extra toiletries and it never arrived. Reception staff seemed inexperienced and couldn’t articulate charges correctly. Spa is great though

A busy venue that was hectic and underwhelming. Bathroom was dirty with lice, old tissue balls and cobwebs and the room was vast with little furnishings and luxury touches you'd anticipate from a spa hotel. Breakfast was flavourless and options were somewhat lacking other than hot items. I wouldn't return here.

We had a family weekend at Whittlebury, the breakfast was fresh and the Spa did make us relax. Thank you. We will come again.

Clean room. Room service for breakfast forgot my croissants and hot chocolate was cold ! Bed was SO uncomfortable and lumpy, hardly slept. 1 x jacuzzi was closed. Massage by Chloe was fab.

The most stressful hotel I've ever been....the hotel itself very nice , classic and stlylish but the experience of being there caused me anxiety ...a crowded breakfast room with only 1 coffee machine ,I had to queue for 15 minimun every time I wanted a cup of coffee ...the staff at the soa somehow rude I felt treated like a production line item...the 85 pounds massage did nothing for me ...God forbid I forgot something in my room as finding the room from the lift meant walking in a laberyth to find the room again for the number of rooms on each floor ...check in waa at 4pm (incredibly late ) I could not even pay to check in early as this can not be done on arrival the room was cold and there were no spare bllankets , no phone in the room.in case of emergency or room service , every time I access the gym or spa I had to memorize the door the looker codes....I was looking forward a relaxing time in the end I could'nt wait to leave this place feeling suffocated

Hotel and is really nice, been a few times and will definitely go back. There was only one negative and that was our bathroom had a really horrible smell. Luckily we had a shower on the spa. Never had this problem before.
