The rooms are modern and clean , the pub serves great food and the grounds and expansive and restful . It’s our favourite hotel in the area with lots of character and charm .

A friendly and comfortable hotel close to Guildford and Woking. The room was very comfortable and well-furnished with good amenities such as shampoo and conditioner. Our suggestion is to make more vegetarian options on the restaurant menu. It is very much recommended.

We loved the room. It was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
The only criticism was that we didn't have any hot water for the bath during our stay, as it was only tepid and on the morning we were leaving, even the shower water was tepid.
This still wouldn't put us off from returning, as we both had a nice relaxing stay.

The hotel was hard to find in the dark as there were no or poor lights on the driveway. However, the staff were very friendly and professional and the food (breakfast) was of excellent quality (and quantity).
It's a shame that there is no lift in the building, which makes less accessible for people with a disability.
However, I'd definitely recommend the hotel.

Great location, superb room and very comfortable. Bar area great and food ordered was very tasty. Good selection of drinks available. Room well decorated and very clean and tidy. Issue with no hot water during our stay that wasn't rectified by staff which was disappointing as was looking forward to soaking in the free standing bath showed in the photos - so we probably won't stay again.

This property was in a great setting and the room was lovely, however staff weren’t the most helpful and bed was uncomfortable. Also had a strange noise which sounded like a washing machine/dishwasher going off into the early hours. Convenient for Woking train station to get into London which is what we did. Probably wouldn’t stay again which is a shame because I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the room looked lovely.
