The food was absolutely outstanding! We were very impressed with everything, including the breakfast, the poolside menu, and the dinner buffet. The room itself was just average, though. Perhaps because of the layout, it always felt a bit damp and never seemed to dry out completely. That said, the quality of the buffet alone would make us choose this resort again.

Staff excellent. Felt looked after from the second we entered the property and until leaving. The restaurant by the water was a highlight and we loved the food and cocktails. The music entertainment was amazing too. Such a good way to finish our holiday.

Beautiful property, Lux style, Great food and drink offerings. Great stand alone coffee shop and other niche shopping on site as well. Though beautiful and lux, it is really focused on great family and group vacations the remain on site (all in one stop; great golfing, great kids club, gym, and many available excursions via on site tour bookings). To really experience Fiji culture and Fiji life outside of of Denerau, you need to get away from the hotel and go out and see the rest of Fiji. As a review for just the hotel, It is top notch. A bit crowded but that is what you get at a resort of this stature.

Don’t book an oceanfront suite. We had a gala dinner setup 6 metres from our room on the first night. Changed rooms to the next category down which thank goodness was quiet at least. Staff offered a free dinner in the hotel to apologise but this was offered on checkout. Food was average but premium pricing. Breakfast was ok but had to send kids food back as pancakes were so old they were like biscuits. Not many pool chairs for the amount of guests. Overall for FJ$3400 for 2 nights I was very disappointed and will not be back.

Stayed in adults only section with plunge pools, quiet part of the resort. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Visited in June, weather was perfect for most of our stay although can get very windy. Would recommend this resort.

I had an excellent experience at the Sheraton Fiji! The hotel was very clean, accommodations was top tier. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They have several options on property for meals. They have a breakfast buffet but I didn't try it. Instead, I went to the coffee shop, 28g, each morning. I tried a different latte each day, delicious! Pastries were also a delight. Every meal I had there was so good. Another thing worth noting, check in is at 3pm. We arrived very early in the morning. They have a lounge available to shower and change, so you can freshen up and head down to the pool or beach to relax while you wait. They emailed us when our room was ready at 11am. Truly a great experience. Also, they had several stores on property.

This hotel is probably the nicest among the ones in Denarau, but you will find better pools at Sofitel, and nicer rooms at Hilton. If you want a quiet and relaxing experience around the pool, note that as of end of June 2026 there are renovation works right next to the adults-only pool. You can also use the Westin pool, gym and the spa. These are the only facilities open at this sister hotel as they are also doing major renovations works and noise is an issue. Not nice. The main pools are crowded, with kids running and screaming, so not a relaxing experience. Rooms are modern and good size BUT walls are very thin (you will hear your neighbours) and cleaning is really an issue: there is dust everywhere, very dirty windows, etc. Not what you would expect in one of the best (and most expensive) hotels in Denarau. Very average food quality in their buffets and definitely not worth the price. The seafood night, for example, all the seafood was very dry and it was a disappointing experience. The breakfast buffet is in general good but very crowded between 8am and 9:30am; if you go after 9:30am you will find empty trays and food stations as they are not topped up. I'd recommend to go to Denarau Marina for food, cheaper and wider options. You can either take the bula bus at the lobby (FJD 10 for a day pass) or just do a gentle, nice 25-min walk. It is safe and well-lit at night as well. I do believe this hotel is overpriced, but like everything in Fiji.

Fantastic staff, very cheerful and helpful. Clean rooms and the entire resort, fabulous ocean front all around the resort. However, there systems have issues linking to each other, I had an issue linking my all inclusive package to the front desk and the different restaurants, causing embarrassing questioning by staff with every meal! This was sorted out after a couple of days when I escalated to the front desk manager.
