AC in my room worked great during most of my stay. But on my last day when the temp hit 103 degrees, it wasn't quite as effective. I overheard another guest complaining at the front desk about her room AC as well. No AC in hallways or elevator, which during the heatwave when I was there was a bit annoying. Room was tiny but very clean and well maintained. Loved my little balcony in the morning having my coffee watching the neighborhood wake up and go to work. Neighborhood is a little run down with many stores, restaurants, etc closed. Graffiti everywhere. Homeless tents across the street and down the cross street towards the Seine River. Paris is not what it used to be...noticeable decline in the last 9 years since my last visit. I always stay in the Latin Quarter but it was different this time. Sad.

Loved everything about this hotel - will definitely stay here again. Amazing location (solo traveler), amenities, AC, bfast and a newly remodeled sparkling clean room. Elevators too!

The room was extremely comfortable with bright light yet the black out curtains were very effective. The bathtub was older and a little too high for an older person. There should have been slip proof provisions for those who shower. All of the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful going out of their way to meet my needs. I definitely hope I have the opportunity to stay there again!

We liked that this hotel had air conditioning in the rooms since we were there during the June heat wave! Every day, our bed was made up and the towels replaced, so that was nice too. The location was close to many shops and restaurants, and if you are interested in spending time in the St. Germain area, and seeing Notre Dame and Pantheon, both are within easy walking distance.

The staff was very kind and helpful, the air-conditioning worked well. The rooms were incredibly small, had virtually no amenities - only shower gel and hand soap, no storage for clothes, and not enough room to keep even single suit case open. The carpet was old and stained. The hair dryer was from the 1990's and next to useless. The shower had been redone, but no place to put any toiletries in the shower that you had for yourself, and there was no lip to prevent water overflow. Location was good, but this was not a room we looked forward to coming back to at the end of the day.

Location was very nice, staff very helpful and friendly. Comfortable. While the room was nice, it did not look like the picture when I booked it. The air conditioner worked, but did not cool extremely well. Overall, very good.

We love this little hotel for its excellent location just out of the rat race but close to the Seine and sights of the 5th and 6th arrondissements. Very good breakfast and nicely appointed rooms. Will return.

This hotel was perfect in so many ways! Great location - minutes from Notre Dame, many cafes and shops. Close to Metro too. The staff was outstanding - always there with helpful information and recommendations. Night manager helped find a doctor on call to come to our room when I had flu symptoms. Housekeeping kept the room in great shape. We would definitely stay here again.

Charmigt hotell bara några tvärgator från Notre Dame, mycket fräscht och rent. Fantastiskt hjälpsam personal. Något enklare frukost men allt man ville ha fanns. Underbart med fungerande AC på rummet! Små men charmiga rum. Kanske hade önskat en enklare vägghylla att kunna ställa saker på om man bor fler dagar. Personalen både i receptionen,städ och frukosten är verkligen gulliga och hjälpsamma. Känns välkomnande och familjärt. När vi var på plats var det inga barn på hotellet, väldigt lugna och bra resenärer. Bodde mot en mindre tvärgata och kunde sova bra. Som sagt AC var guld värt. Charmigt boende som rekommenderas!

Great location, 5 minute walk to Notre Dame, tour buses and ferry. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms are really small and the elevator is tiny fits one person and a bag, had to use the stairs the majority of the time

We loved our stay at Abbatial Saint Germain. The room was comfortable and we appreciated being able to open the window or use air conditioning/heat in the room. The staff were always helpful and the breakfast offered a variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is excellent, convenient to many landmarks, metro and restaurants. We look forward to returning.

Excellent location, kind professional staff, comfy bed. Didn't realize there was a fridge until the last day or I would have used it. Tiny elevator, had to fold up our wheelchair to get it in, standard for Paris but I always try to include disability information.

We were in the Junior Suite. It was a beautiful room and very modern and updated. It was on the street so there was considerable loud street noise. It didn’t bother us much. Staff was fantastic and breakfast was delicious. Close to everything.
