Hersonissos Palace - All Inclusive

The room we stayed in was beautiful couldnt fault it at all, really big and modern, i would say the rest of the hotel could do with a revamp its quite dated, the pool ares didnt feel very clean. The food was lovely, lots of choice. The bar near the beach was gorgeous with a beautiful view and rear garden where we proffered to sunbath. For the money it was a great stay and close to everything but i wouldnt say it was a 5* hotel.

Excellent hotel: good location - 3 min walk to the sea and 10 min walk to the center on foot distance, a little further from the noise of night bars. Good food - we had AI - food was plentiful and varied, 10-24 hours delicious cocktails and local alcoholic drinks at pool Bar and seaside Know Bar are included. There is also a sunbeds next to the Know bar, but they are over the road further from the seafront and it is very, very hot to be there. Sunbeds on the beach are paid 10-12 eur per day for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella. However, the beach is sandy and it is great to lie on the sand as anyone wants. The sea is very rocky, the rocks are huge and sharp, so swimming shoes are required. Without shoes, unfortunately, I hurt my foot badly 😪 We had spacious Suites room with large 2 balconies. Room were cleaned and towels changed daily. The air conditioner worked great. The room had 2 small fridges, 2 kettles, 2 large TVs with Netflix. Wifi worked well in the room. The car can be parked in the hotel parking, no need to book in advance. The service staff is especially pleasant and helpful. We will definitely come back. A couple of little things that Hotel could be improved - set up the belong sunbeds right on the beach and fix the unpleasant smell from the bathroom sink.

Hôtel très bien, les chambres sont rénovées et propre, le wi-fi fonctionne correctement. Les repas sont riches, variés et de bonne qualité. De nombreux commerces, Bar et restaurants sont à proximité. Nous avons apprécié le séjour.

Don't be fooled by the photos. This hotel is not five stars. This hotel is less than 5 stars. It's disgusting, the cleaning is poorly done, the hotel conditions are deplorable, everything is old, the drinks at the all inclusive are terrible, the food is very average. The hotel is in a very old area, the view is terrible. We spent a week at this hotel and felt completely deceived by the photos on the booking website. To make matters worse, they don't allow you to pay the tourist tax by card. The lady at reception is not very friendly. The only positive point is the restaurant staff who are very helpful.

Looks average. As someone mentioned before the bed frame really does block the TV. Had a family room with sofa bed which creaked quite badly even when a three year old turned in their sleep. Overall condition of the hotel could be improved

Gran bell'hotel vicino alla spiaggia, con la formula All Inclusive, si vive un experience totalmente rilassante. Ultra consigliato, qualunque sia il motivo della visita a Creta.

J’ai séjourné 1 semaine dans cet hôtel, il ne vaut pas les 5 étoiles et la dénomination palace. En effet, sur 3 piscines 1 seule est accessible, la piscine intérieur et située à côté de la salle de sport ( qui est glauque) en sous sol et n’est pas entretenue donc inutilisable, la seconde piscine extérieure est fermée. La Reception de l’hôtel se trouve au 2eme étage choses surprenante de plus taxe de séjours à payer qu’en cash. La nourriture que dire il s’agit pour ma part d’une cantine entrée de gamme, le café en grain est en supplément cependant vous pouvez avoir du café goût eau chaude a volonté. Les chambres sont plutôt moderne cependant il faut payer des extra pour avoir accès au coffre. Le personnel de chambre + accueil sont plutôt agréable cependant le responsable de restauration qui semble être le patron n’a jamais décrocher un bonjour/bonsoir ou un sourire. Petite plus de l’hôtel un médecin est disponible pendant 30 minutes tous les jours de 15h à 15h30.

Starting with the arrival, the entrance has many stairs so arriving guests have to use the elevator, which doesn’t have a description on which floor the reception is. The hotel urgently needs renovation it the everything except the rooms looks very dated. The rooms look modern. The AC in my room didn’t work and it took a while until it got repaired. The janitor also had to reset the TV and the shower drain was clogged. The food was rather basic, the coffee horrible, all together I wouldn’t give this hotel more than 3 stars

Fin beliggenhed. Serviceminded receptionist personale. Bar personale ikke så servicemindede. Fin rengøring. Det ene værelse meget fint til tre personer det andet til 2 var noget mere "snævert" uagtet det var til samme pris. Maden ikke fantastisk men dog acceptabelt og vi valgte derfor at spise ude to dage selv om vi havde all inklusive.

My search for a hotel was predominantly driven by the star rating, this is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The facility descriptions are inaccurate and misleading. 'Poolside bar and two bars/lounges' - There was a poolside bar but that was it. There was one more bar but it was never open and the image of a bar on the site wasn't there at all. Also, for some reason the 'all-inclusive' stops at midnight at the poolside bar. That just seems a bit strange as the bar only stays open until 1am so why bother charging for that hour. 'Two outdoor pools' - there was only one and there were never anywhere near enough sun loungers for the size of the hotel or the number of guests. The indoor pool does exist but we never saw anyone use it. It needs updating as it's very tired. I didn't see a tennis court and the images give the impression that the hotel is right on the beach, it's not. It's only about 100 yards away and there is a beach bar there but the photos are misleading. The bedroom and bathroom were very nice and generally the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant needs to be covered as there were a lot of flies, so it was best to choose something as they brought out a new tray, or choose something from the grill as they cooked it. The choice and quality was pretty good though. All in all we did have a nice break but just think the details are not accurate. I wouldn't have chosen to stay there now I know how it really is.

Un 5 étoiles qui mérite un 2-3 étoiles max. Nous avons vu des 4 étoiles 10x plus beau et équipé que celui ci. Le personnel d’accueil est serviable par contre les femmes de ménage une autre histoire. 3 schampoing et 3 après schampoing et mais seulement 1 gel douche pour 5jours. Si vous demandez à la femme de ménage de vous en passez elle dira non de voir avec l’accueil alors qu’elle a tous les produits sur son chariot. Une salle de sport dans un sous sol qui pue les poubelles. Un sauna qui n’est pas en fonctionnement. Une piscine intérieur triste et qui ne donne pas envie car en sous sol elle Aussi dans un endroit pas accueillant. Concernant autour de l’hôtel bah il est au milieu d’immeuble qui font getto. Le restaurant surveillez vos assiettes sinon elles sont vite retiré par ceux qui débarrasse. Nourriture de gros. Sans élaboration. Gras et en sauce. Spécialité chinoise alors qu’on est en Crète. L’accueil de l’hôtel pareil est triste pas chaleureux sans âme. La chambre qu’en a elle rien à dire. Mais loin d’un 5 étoiles.

Insgesamt würden wir es als ein 4-5 Sterne Hotel einstufen. Wenn man die Landeskategorie zugrunde legt ist es sicherlich ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Der Restaurantmanager Dimitros ist sehr umsichtig und Service-orientiert. Aber das gleiche auch für die anderen Bediensteten an Reception, Bar und Beach Restaurant. Übrigens ist es zu empfehlen mindestens einmal Dinner am Strand in dem zum Hotel gehörenden Beach Restaurant einzunehmen. Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das neueste aber vollkommen akzeptabel und sauber. Preis und Leistungsverhältnis bei unserer Buchung waren absolut OK. Wir haben ein tolles Zimmer im 4 .OG mit Meerblick gehabt. Allerdings bei offenem Fenster abends manchmal etwas laut, da eine Verbindungsstraße zum Strand und Hafen an der Vorderseite des Hotels vorbeiführt. Aber ohne Straßen geht es halt auch nicht. Es ist zwar kein direktes Strandhotel, aber es sind lediglich ca. 60m bis zum Meer. In anderen Anlagen, die sich als Strandanlage bewerben, hat man sehr oft weitere Wege bis zum Strand als im Hersonissos Palace. Wir können das Hotel bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. R... und M.. Αρκετά καλό το ξενοδοχείο . Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση , Άριστο φαγητό , πολύ μέτρια τοποθεσία με πολύ θόρυβο . Τίποτα το ενδιαφέρον από αυτή την περιοχή .

The Palace is advertised as a 5 star, however it should be rated as 4 star. I had to move the bed to watch an uninterrupted view of the TV as one of the four posters posts was in the middle of the TV view. There are no t-bags or milk in the room and I had to continually ask for more coffee and sugar. The staff were always very helpful and accommodating. The room is comfortable, but does not warrant a 5 star. There is no shuttle service to the airport, which costs a basic 45 Euros. The Diana supermarket is handy at a 2 minute walk and the beach and bars are 5 minutes walk, although the beach is flooded with sun loungers that all belong to the various bars. The beach is very rocky near the shore line. The food is good, however very little seafood. Mussels were available once and fish was generally served in a sauce. A nice hotel, conveniently located with helpful staff, but as stated not a 5 star.

Very nice stay for 1 night, beds were very comfortable and nice pillows, the bar by the beach was really nice with lovely view!
