Meltemi Village

I had the best stay at meltemi !! I went to Greece on a solo trip and the staff here were so kind and welcoming ! I was even provided a beautiful note & gift for my birthday. And for when I wanted to take transit I was given a bus schedule sheet & some tips for the bus. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel along with a bakery (5min walk) and many places to eat ! I’ll be back the next time I’m in Santorini ! Thanks for the amazing stay !

Excellent and professional service. Everything we asked was superbly organized and we also got some good suggestions. Nice pool, not too crowded (in October). Naturally you need to take a bus or taxi to Fira/Oia but it was not a problem for us. We can highly recommend Meltemi Village.

Il primo aspetto a colpire di questa struttura è la pulizia, evidente fin dall'ingresso. La camera era pulitissima all'arrivo ed è stata regolarmente pulita ogni giorno del nostro soggiorno. Tutti i membri dello staff sono stati molto gentili e super disponibili ad accogliere le nostre richieste, ci hanno organizzato tour, transfer, noleggi e sono anche riusciti a prenotare per noi diversi ristoranti. L'hotel è molto vicino alla spiaggia dove ci sono davvero tantissimi ristoranti molto buoni (e anche economici) e diversi negozi turistici. La posizione è molto comoda anche per quanto riguarda la presenza di sportelli ATM (ce ne sono moltissimi sull'isola, ma in particolare a pochi passi dall'hotel ce ne sono diversi). C'è anche una zona adibita a parcheggio proprio di fronte all'hotel. L'aspetto positivo di questa struttura è la posizione molto comoda per le spiagge, quindi consiglio questo hotel a chi preferisce stare nella zona "relax" dell'isola, mentre se si preferisce la zona più "vitale" si dovrebbe puntare più su Fira e Oia (anche se entrambe sono facilmente raggiungibili in macchina in 20 e 40 minuti). Da questo punto di vista è anche molto facilmente raggiungibile (Fira e Oia sono fatte di vie spesso non raggiungibili in auto, quindi potrebbe risultare scomodo per qualcuno portarsi in giro i bagagli per raggiungere gli hotel), noi siamo stati lasciati sul portone d'ingresso direttamente dalla navetta dall'aeroporto. Altro punto a favore, a mio avviso, è la privacy.

Lovely hotel. Very peaceful. All of the staff are very friendly and work very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Breakfast was really nice and always sun beds available

Highly recommended. Service was outstanding. Great pool, great drinks. Wonderful room. Grandmas Recipe across the street is excellent for a quick bite. They even let us use a room downstairs to shower after we had checked out but enjoyed additional pool time.

What a great stay. From checking in to check out the entire experience was 10/10. A bit about the hotel: Hotel is clean,comfortable and pleasant with a nice pool and pleasant grounds. Mattress was comfortable and pillows were a bit firm but comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful and caters for all. Eggs bacon salads fruit yoghurts breads etc. Location: at first we thought it was out of the way but when we walked to the beach (5 minutes ) we discovered a beach. During the day it was quiet but at night it came to life with souvenir shops restaurants greek music and dancing. Tables right on the beach some tables on the sand. The strip is about 400m. Id suggest walking. Up and down before choosing a restaurant. They’re all exceptional. We went to Apollo with Greek music. They close the street in the evening so safe for children and adults. Getting around : We hired a car from auto union car rental. They’re the cheapest. No need for a luxury car. It cost us around 50 euro a day. They picked us up from the airport and we returned it at the port to catch ferry onto another island.

Merci à l’équipe de l’hôtel pour sa gentillesse et son arrangement qui permettent de passer un séjour en toute tranquillité et sérénité. Je recommande vraiment, vous pouvez de plus louer un véhicule dans la rue de l’hôtel ce qui est très pratique ! La chambre été superbe.

Very comfortable. Short walk to the beach.

The hotel is clean and well kept. Located in a quiet part of Santorini. Easy access around the island by car. Staff at the front desk are quite attentive and amazing. Beautiful hotel.

Bella struttura e ottima accoglienza da parte di uno staff davvero simpatico e disponibile. Non è sul mare ma ha una bella piscina. Peccato solo per una manutenzione un po'scarsa nelle camere. Con poco di più sarebbero davvero al top! Ci torneremo.

We had the most amazing holiday at Meltemi and stayed for 3 weeks in room 43 & 46 28 of our wedding guests also stayed here and where all very impressed! Meltemi catered for all of our needs providing cots for children, extra pillows etc Unfortunately my dad fell ill and the lovely receptionists helped to get him a dr appt and call a taxi and also helped to find a replacement pushchair for one that was lost at LGW The barman are extremely friendly and always welcoming Our rooms where always spotlessly clean everyday The staff at Meltemi made our holiday and wedding day extra special and greeted us every morning We had 5 star treatment throughout our stay We became very fond of all of the staff and where very sad to go after our amazing stay We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary Thank you all again so much! Per un hotel a 4 stelle non è il massimo. Ciò che mi ha delusa particolarmente sono state le pulizie, dovevo sempre chiedere di spazzare quando rientravo in stanza. Abbiamo fatto il check out alle 18.00 pagando un sovrapprezzo e non ci hanno sistemato la camera la mattina, siamo rimasti senza neanche la carta igienica. Avendo pagato non poco, non sono stata davvero entusiasta. Altra nota negativa non c’è un parcheggio vero e proprio ma uno sterrato di fronte dove poter lasciare lo scooter. La piscina alle 18.00 in piena estate chiude …Per il resto tutto ok, colazione non male.

Very pleasant stay near the bus stop and about 8 min walk to the beach we got a free upgrade on our room with Whirlpool although we didn’t use because it was a little cold, really good buffet breakfast would come again.

Personale : gentilissimo e premuroso. Spazi comuni (incluso piscina) : di buon livello (apprezzato) Camera : insufficiente - vecchia con finestre che a malapena si potevano chiudere. Il bagno è vecchio , piccolo e pieno di calcare. Leggendo le altre recensioni credo vi siano camere ristrutturare e altre (stabile principale) che sono rimaste abbandonate per decenni.
