Mirabello Hotel

The Mirabello is a small family-run hotel. They work hard and with pride. Rooms are immaculate and it is in a very quiet area in old town with two excellent local-folk family tavernas just a few steps away and around the corner. A very budget friendly and safe place to stay in the heart of old town Heraklion.

Très Bon acceuil. Le chambre était encore plus belle que sur les photos. Le personnel est en permanence dans l’Hotel pour nous répondre. Le nettoyage est fait à tous les jours. Très apprécié. Merci à toute l’équipe du Mirabello Hôtel!

Hôtel bien situé en pleine centre-ville et chambre propre. Le moignon du mitigeur ne fonctionne pas très bien en position pommeau et salle d’eau très étroite. Bon accueil pendant le séjour (1 nuit). Pas de nuisances sonores le soir constaté.

Πολύ φιλόξενο καθαρό και ιδιαίτερα βολική θέση! Ήρθαμε στο Ηράκλειο για να τρέξω τον ημιμαραθώνιο Κρήτης ήταν νομίζω το κατάλληλο κατάλυμα.

We arrived at 2.45 pm and the room was not ready until 3.15 pm . The ground floor rooms are behind the bar and the reception off the staff corridor so it feels like staff experience not the hotel experience . The bathroom was super small with the sink size of the airplane washroom. The shower doors were not clean from the guest before - splashed and dirty I understand that I paid for the cheap ground floor room however the Expedia is selling Economy Twin Room - ground floor as per photo no 32 (room) and no 11 or no 20 ( bathroom ). My room looked like photo no 29 (exactly ) or no 18 ( represented as single room ). My bathroom was photo no 24 ( single room bathroom)! According to the photos I received lower standard that I paid for . When I informed the reception about the situation they told me that this is the only room on the ground floor yet in fact they were 2 rooms . Room no 2 was occupied already . So I got a room no 1 - which in photos is represented as single room . The only reason I booked the economy twin on Expedia because the room review was 10 exceptional - and since they have only 2 ground floor rooms- then it has to be next doo Expedia sells different room then Mirabello Hotel accommodates you into .I also booked it 1 month ahead so if the Mirabello hotel did not have the room Expedia offers ( it’s only one available !)then it should not proceed with booking at all or it should Offer the upgrade not the downgrade . Stay away from ground floor rooms !

Proche du centre, calme, restaurants à proximité. Personnel sympathique et à l’écoute. Chambre propre et agréable.

Cute place to stay. Walking distance from port.

The gentlemen at the front desk were great he helped us in getting a taxi from our hotel to the port in the morning when we had an early ferry and was very nice!

Location was close to eateries and a short walk to the ferry and bus. Property was clean and quiet, reception staff were able to help with location/directions. General area had a lot of graffiti which was off putting to the eye, but it also did not feel unsafe in the time we stayed so don’t let this out you off. This cannot be held against the property, it was safe with 24 hour reception.

Atención amable. Recomiendo no pedir piso bajo, mucho ruido en la calle. La habitación muy limpia y muy bien situado.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, receptie is 24/7 open/beschikbaar, netjes en schoon, op loopafstand van het centrum. Minpuntje voor ons was: 4 blinde muren; geen balkon zoals op de advertentie. Prima hotel voor een paar dagen op basis van prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

It was a fine hotel, better than I was expecting, and the price was great. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and ready when I arrived. The only issue I had was on my last night there was a lot of traffic that kept me up most of the night, which was something I didn’t experience on the other nights I was there. If you’re staying in Heraklion and want a decent, budget friendly hotel, this one exceeds expectations

Det eneste minus var, at der ikke var nok tryk på vandet i bruseren. Ellers fantastisk med lækker tagterrasse, stille og roligt selvom det er midt i byen. Central beliggenhed i forhold til gammel by, seværdigheder, shopping mm. Kun 4,5 km gang til lækker strand.

Overall a great hotel at a fair price. Suited our needs for a quick stop in Heraklion!

The room was clean, air-conditioned, and had a quite a big and comfortable bed. Great location too, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had to check out a bit later than the regular time and was not charged extra. The bathroom was small, but that was a minor issue. Will come back if I visit Heraklion again!

My friend and I stayed here for a week — overall, it was alright. The location is definitely the highlight, very close to the city centre and within walking distance of all kinds of transport, which made getting around super easy. The room itself was decently clean, but unfortunately the towels and sheets were dirty and stained, which wasn’t great. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. Decent for the price, but could use some improvements.
