Our stay at Jenna’s Bed & Breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Atitlán. From the moment we arrived, The staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their genuine kindness and hospitality. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, and they were always happy to share helpful local recommendations (Lino the tuctuc driver)
The property was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Waking up each morning to such a stunning setting was unforgettable.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, homemade, and prepared with care. It was the perfect way to start each day before exploring the area.
If you’re looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and authentic place to stay at Lake Atitlán, Jenna’s Bed & Breakfast is an outstanding choice. We left feeling like guests who had become friends, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

El personal muy amable, excelente su atencion, hasta un up grade de habitacion nos dieron al llegar. El punto es que a nosotros nos salio un Alacran grande junto a la lampara de noche y dos arañas tambien muy grandes, por lo cual no pudimos dormir tranquilos, movimos los muebles en busca de mas bichos y realmente no descansamos, na hay nadie en recepcion despues de las 8 pm, asi q no hay quien te apoye en ese caso.
Como esta en medio de la selva, y el techo es de lamina y tiene una cubierta de carrizo interior, hay insectos, se entiende, pero dentro de la habitacion, eso no debe pasar.
Al dia siguiente, pedimos la cancelacion de las otras noches y se nos reembolso sin problema asi como tambien nos dieron de cortesia la cuenta del restaurante que habiamos consumido.
Esta lejos del pueblo y para moverte es necesario contratar un tuk tuk del mismo hotel, con un chofer tambien muy amable.
Las vistas de las habitaciones son muy buenas, pero por la mitad del precio puedes conseguir algo igual o mejor.

It was clean and so cute. Keep in mind, it’s a yurt, not a sandals resort. There is no elevator; you’ll be climbing up and down dozens of stairs. It kind of felt like glamping with concierge. This was a positive for me, but it’s good to be realistic about what kind of experience you’ll have. There are bugs, you will probably find them in the bathroom. Not from a lack of hygiene, you’re staying in the middle of the forest. I used shower shoes. The staff is amazing. The rooms are cleaned every day, the bartenders are awesome, and the included chapin breakfast is really good. They have a pool, and there is an incredible view of the lake from your patio. You can also WhatsApp the staff at any time and they will assist you (extra attention to your room, restaurant resy, shuttle set-up, etc). I enjoyed my stay, I would stay here again.

This place is located in one of the best mountain areas, and having such beautiful views made my wife and me very happy with everything we saw. Jenna’s River Bed & Breakfast was spectacular, and the staff were incredibly special and welcoming. They are truly amazing. I recommend this hotel 100%. And the breakfast super good.

This property is beautiful however we felt like it was maybe too much for the owners to maintain as the pool was dirty and looked a bit more run down than pics show. The biggest concern we encountered was that you are locked into the property. There is just one gate you can get in and out of and you have to get staff to open it for you. The issue that happened to us is after 8pm to 8am the staff leaves and only 1 security guard remains on site. The morning we wanted to leave early to catch a boat at 630am we went to leave but none was there, the security guard, who knew we were planning on heading out early, was sent home in the middle of the night due to an emergency and the phone number for the staff we were told to call if needed just rang with no answer. Finally we had to climb over the fence to get out. After sharing our concerns with their manager we were credited some back but then yelled at and scolded that they felt we were not nice by complaining. I've never been treated like that ever either traveling or back home in USA. They also promised to decorate our room as I wanted to suprise my partner for our anniversary but they did not do that either and did decorate for our dinner the next night after I had to remind them. There are so many beautiful places to stay in that area that I would NOT come back to jennas or recommend to anyone based on the level of service they demonstrated. Mistakes happen of course but apologies and showing they value your business 💯

Stayed at Jenna's and let me tell you... amazing! Incredible experience. The staff was amazing, professional, friendly, respectful and attentive! They were the best part of my stayed... great bartender Alejandra is known in the whole town, Fernando worked the bar and restaurant and he was amazimg too, the food was delicious (THEY MAKE EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH INCLUDING KETCHUP AND SYRUP FROM SCRATCH). Location was stunning, this view is incredible! The rooms are cozy besides the bugs (I am scary lol, plus the place its up at the mountains) they are no complaints, but I feel like maybe a little bathroom upgrade would do the place good. I recommend!
