Garden House Budapest

Wie schon bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt hier vor einigen Jahren wurden wir wieder sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich begrüßt! Es ist ein fast schon familiäres Gästehaus, ruhig gelegen. Das kleine Problem mit dem kalten Zimmer löste der Inhaber blitzschnell. Kleines Manko: das Bett in unserem Zimmer war schon ziemlich durchgelegen. Ansonsten war alles ok!

Reasonable for F1 weekend. Staff was great during check in and had everything we needed. It is a decent walk through an ok neighborhood to the main part of city. Overall, I would recommend.

The accomodation is in the center and has an easy free parking option, which is valuable. However, the room number 6 has sewage backup smell, and when we told the owner, he said there was nothing (even though the staff came and left VMC all day, and a woman told us that it was repaired). Also there was silver fish in the room. They are there when there.is a humidity issue or cleanliness. The owner wanted to change us room 2 nights before the end of our trip to put us in a smaller room without changing pricing. The room isn't too clean, and our bedsheet never got change in 5 nights (even though our towels were being changed everyday). Also be aware of pricing. The owner isn't very honest about it. You can find a good hotel with breakfast and true cleaning for less than 116 euros a night (even if F1 is about to happen). Also, we you are in the garden, you can see people showering in the sharing bathroom though the window. You also hear everything in the hall or when people shower or go to the bathroom. The owner only sees money and do not really care about customers. He will do everything to make you look like it's your fault or you are crazy/confused. We asked to change our room from a sharing bathroom to a private one and it asked us to pay 20 euros more per night. But when we checked on Expedia or booking, it was less expensive. Then when we told him, everything was blocked on 3 nights minimum or pricing had been change. Keep your money for another stay honestly.

The café options listed at The hostel is not true. The pictures in the ad is of a nearby cozy café that has nothing to do with The hostel. And The hostel is in need of reparations. But beyond that it was clean, the workers where kind and helping. The hostel is below average because of The need of repair, but I am happy with my stay. Slightly to expensive for what you get.

Väldigt smidigt med parkering som ingår. Nära till buss som tar en in till centrum. Väldigt prisvärt. Charmigt boende.

優點是地點離公車站牌不遠，坐到市區景點也都十來分鐘。 缺點是房間很小，有點舊但還算乾淨，沒有冰箱沒冷氣有電風扇！周邊的建築是廢墟，初到時候覺得滿毛的。

a decent, basic budget option not so far from Budapest's main train-station, Keleti. family-run, they all speak good English and were charming and helpful. the accommodation is in a private courtyard in the Josefvaros area -- there's a Metro station nearby and you can get to Keleti station on foot in 15-20 minutes. VERY comfortable bed was the highlight --- a bit softer than I am used to, but it made for a nice change. I booked a cheap room with toilet and shower separate -- toilet on same floor, very close. Shower downstairs. Facilities were up to standard; wifi always worked well. It's nothing "fancy" but there are not so many "bargains" in Budapest these days and I would certainly stay here again.

As to rent a furnished room in Budapest. Silent, well located, no breakfast included but coffee machine and sugar, tee and coffee Bags available. It would be better if s.o. is asked if the room need to be cleaned always or not. The room is received clean and properly set. There are some incomfortable things that could be fixed: i.e. the door of the shower cabin were replaced with a shower curtain; or the old mattress. TV because LCD panel was damaged. Wifi, check-in/out, facilities in general were 0K.

Small room, but enought for 2 nights. Polite and helpfull personal. Good price for value.

Fint hotel til prisen med et rent og minimalistisk værelse. Vi boede der under en hedebølge og savnede virkelig en aircon på værelset. I de fire dage vi boede der blev der ikke gjort rent på værelset, men der blev dog lagt rent sengetøj til os. Og så er personalet utroligt flinke og hjælpsomme.

The place is nice, the host is amazing! A bit hard to move your luggage to the second floor, Room 9, but apart from this it was great. I love the attic. The area nearby is not very nice per se, but you have a quick access to the train and can explore the downtown.

Good place, more an apart-hotel, where they leave you alone once you've checked in. Location a little up north, not a lot around, not far from Corvin. Pretty clean, seperate bathroom but was always available.

Well located room in the center of Budapest. The room is simple but gives all what you need for this price: a bed to sleep on, toilet and shower. Note: no air conditioning and it is not possible to sleep with open windows as it gives directly to the garden and entrance of the garden house (you hear people passing by). The staff is very friendly, accessible and speaks very well english. Free parking in the road assuming you have a EU car (non hungarian).
