Club Emerald

Not ideal for tourists, away from everything, most Uber couldn't find it. Pool was dirty and once was told couldn't use it. No loungers to sit on. Cafe was never open. Its a local hotel for Indians food was very average.

Expedia lies when it states that hotel provides ride to and from airport. Site even states that if there’s no ride then client is compensated Rs 1110 each way to and from airport. Despite my call ahead n from airport n at departure no ride or adjusted compensation in bill. I only picked this hotel since this was mentioned in details st Expedia. No AC OR ANC IRON in room.

An old hotel that used to be a high class hotel. Was too local for me.

This seems to be a pattern for hotels in India - first they give you a terribly looking, very dirty, battered and worn out room, then, when you say you'll want another hotel from the booking company, they show you a significantly better one, which is still very far from ideal, but you accept it, because it's not that terrible as the first one. Happened to me in Club Emerald, 2 days later the same happened in New Delhi. Service was definitely not too good - it took them 2 hours to get my internet running, housekeeping guy asked me 3 times when he can clean while I was in... Breakfast is basic and mediocre, wifi is slow, too complex to access and not always working. The only good thing I saw in this hotel, was the Paprika restaurant - very good vegetarian cuisine (I'm not a vegetarian, but I liked it too). Location is relatively good - especially for the airport. But the whole experience, for the price paid, was a definite disappointment. Everything looks far worse than the photos show.

Room toilate & flooring was not as clean as expectation.
