Stone Water Eco Resort

Stonewater resort was recommended by a friend from Goa! The reviews were mixed, however we decided to take a chance and I must say I did not regret taking this chance AT ALL. AMAZING property!! One of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. 10 points to the service too. They were available as and when required. The swimming pool was clean and alot of fun! Overall the stay was really good. Wish we could stay for longer. Keep up the good work :))

horrible wifi & awful food and service!

Very remote. The check in time is 12 noon and I arrived around 11am. First when I walked in with my luggage towards the reception which is an independent hutt like a watch tower seperate from all other cottages, I was looked at as if I am an alien. The two casually dressed ladys at the reception looked at each other and one of them asked me about my name and when i tendered my booking print sheet, she advised me that my room is not ready and I have to wait. Looked very mediocre and funny that there was no greeting of any sort. While I was waiting I saw both the ladys scrambling to arrange a room for me. Looked absolutely poor hospitality standards. 40 minutes later I was told that the room is ready and before I could leave the reception the lady mentioned to me that if I want to order food from the Restaurant, it will take longer as the Resort is hosting a conference. I was stunned. Before I headed off she politely said " have a pleasant stay". I knew for sure that it is a total crap and my mistake of relying heavily and trusting my travel agent for booking the best resort! My two days stay almost half of the both days there was NO POWER at all. I was told that there is some problem with the Generator and it is getting fixed! what the hell! WIFI is available only at the RECEPTION TOWER and the password is not shared but keyed into my ipad by the reception lady. Really! Swimming Pool is dirty and the Seats are torn and yucky.NOT RECOMMENDED.Never to return to this resort.
