Absolutely beautiful hotel, with great service from the staff. We stayed three nights and we loved it. It is close to Nusa Penida's harbor, but do yourself a favor and ask them to come pick you at the harbor, it'll probably be cheaper than what the local taxi drivers will charge you. The view from the pool is incredible. We loved it!

Un accueil chaleureux, un bungalow très bien décoré, literie de qualité, salle de bain conforatble. Le restaurant sert toute la journée jusqu'à 21h a des prix très abordables. Le petit dejeuner est varie et copieux. La piscine avec vue sur cristal bay est de bonne taille. L'endroit general est tres calme et aspire à la sérénité. Seul petit bemol, ils ne font pas de cocktails mais vous orientent volontiers vers des établissements tres proches et tres qualiquatifs.

I think there were only 8 bungalows at this hotel which we liked. There were enough sun beds for everyone around the infinity pool and we all congregated in the evening to watch the sunset. The bungalows were really nicely maintained and felt private and special. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have had on Bali. The breakfast was massive and nicely done (the smoothie bowl was a work of art). There are a couple of other restaurants to walk out to in the evening but it is quite remote. Crystal Bay is walkable but a steep gradient and not without risk. We flagged a taxi to take us back up the hill. The hotel arranged some lovely day trips for us the best being to Atuh Beach (be prepared for lots of steps).

We absolutely loved our stay here while visiting Nusa Penida Island. The layout of the place, the view, the pool and of course the food "breakfast" was absolutely amazing...we only had breakfast and then travelled around the island alot....this place is only 15 to 20 min drive from the harbour if you rent a scooter. Scooter is the best way to get around the island and is much easier and quicker then cars...most of the roads are only a car and a half wide....

Most amazing staff ever! Very friendly and helpful and always accommodated to our needs. Restaurant shut at 9 and we came back late from an excursion and they kept the restaurant open for us till around 10PM so we could eat! Helped us with where to go and helped us locate scooters! One of the best sunsets here too!

This was gem of a find! The property was in the jungle, quiet and overlooking the ocean-sunsets were fabulous! The staff was super attentive from check-in to check out. Rooms were gorgeous and had all the extra’s including fresh flowers everywhere. We had a great floating breakfast in the pool overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were fabulous! Highly recommend.

The peaceful ambience, lovely poolside scenery, clean rooms and most importantly, the warm, dedicated and caring manager and staff made it an incredible stay for us. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and provided advice to ensure we were safe when riding our scooter on the roads. A big thank you to the Penida sunset team for providing a wonderful experience! A little caution to future travellers, the roads on the island are not pedestrian friendly, there are lots of large 4WD cars on narrow country roads. Best way to get around to sightsee is with a scooter but one has to be a competent and experienced rider due to the traffic and narrow roads.

We had a wonderful stay at Penida Sunset with Gary being a great host. He gave us good advice on the dos and don'ts when staying at Nusa Penida. He catered to all our needs whether we needed an early breakfast or booking spa sessions for us at the resort. Food menu is delicious and worth considering given that there are not many food options around the island. The staff is really friendly and always ready to help us with all our requests. The view of the ocean from the pool is really stunning! Definitely worth staying when you are in Nusa Penida.

Un accueil chaleureux, un bungalow très bien décoré, literie de qualité, salle de bain conforatble. Le restaurant sert toute la journée jusqu'à 21h a des prix très abordables. Le petit dejeuner est varie et copieux. La piscine avec vue sur cristal bay est de bonne taille. L'endroit general est tres calme et aspire à la sérénité. Seul petit bemol, ils ne font pas de cocktails mais vous orientent volontiers vers des établissements tres proches et tres qualiquatifs.

I think there were only 8 bungalows at this hotel which we liked. There were enough sun beds for everyone around the infinity pool and we all congregated in the evening to watch the sunset. The bungalows were really nicely maintained and felt private and special. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have had on Bali. The breakfast was massive and nicely done (the smoothie bowl was a work of art). There are a couple of other restaurants to walk out to in the evening but it is quite remote. Crystal Bay is walkable but a steep gradient and not without risk. We flagged a taxi to take us back up the hill. The hotel arranged some lovely day trips for us the best being to Atuh Beach (be prepared for lots of steps).

We absolutely loved our stay here while visiting Nusa Penida Island. The layout of the place, the view, the pool and of course the food "breakfast" was absolutely amazing...we only had breakfast and then travelled around the island alot....this place is only 15 to 20 min drive from the harbour if you rent a scooter. Scooter is the best way to get around the island and is much easier and quicker then cars...most of the roads are only a car and a half wide....

Most amazing staff ever! Very friendly and helpful and always accommodated to our needs. Restaurant shut at 9 and we came back late from an excursion and they kept the restaurant open for us till around 10PM so we could eat! Helped us with where to go and helped us locate scooters! One of the best sunsets here too!

This was gem of a find! The property was in the jungle, quiet and overlooking the ocean-sunsets were fabulous! The staff was super attentive from check-in to check out. Rooms were gorgeous and had all the extra’s including fresh flowers everywhere. We had a great floating breakfast in the pool overlooking the ocean. The sunsets were fabulous! Highly recommend.

The peaceful ambience, lovely poolside scenery, clean rooms and most importantly, the warm, dedicated and caring manager and staff made it an incredible stay for us. The manager went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, and provided advice to ensure we were safe when riding our scooter on the roads. A big thank you to the Penida sunset team for providing a wonderful experience! A little caution to future travellers, the roads on the island are not pedestrian friendly, there are lots of large 4WD cars on narrow country roads. Best way to get around to sightsee is with a scooter but one has to be a competent and experienced rider due to the traffic and narrow roads.

We had a wonderful stay at Penida Sunset with Gary being a great host. He gave us good advice on the dos and don'ts when staying at Nusa Penida. He catered to all our needs whether we needed an early breakfast or booking spa sessions for us at the resort. Food menu is delicious and worth considering given that there are not many food options around the island. The staff is really friendly and always ready to help us with all our requests. The view of the ocean from the pool is really stunning! Definitely worth staying when you are in Nusa Penida.
