Maldron Hotel Dublin Airport

From check in to check out ..everything was smooth..welcoming ..very professional but courteous.. What really impressed me was shortly after going to my room reception rang to see if all was ok...and to let them know if I needed anything..one doesn't get that in a lot of hotels... Couldn't fault this hotel..

If you're paranoid about missing your early-to-late-morning flight across the Atlantic the next day, go ahead and pay the premium rate that this hotel right next to Dublin International Airport is charging. This is simply a 1-nighter hotel. We were also in Dublin for 3 nights at a hotel in the Temple Bar area, but we paid less for a hotel with more amenities and facilities. In short, we paid more for a 2- to 3-star-quality, outdated hotel (no safe, no fridge, one pillow per bed, a small LCD TV with about 8-10 channels, and poor room lighting) with worn-out carpets and a single elevator for a hotel with 100s of rooms. And looking for your room (and the elevator) is like playing a maze game. Imagine trudging with your heavy luggage in the hotel's dimly lit halls, only to find your nirvana inside your dated, not-so-well (poorly?)-maintained, 70s-feel room. Only the updated bathroom (modern fixtures with great water pressure -both hot and cold), room size, and the helpful reception staff are the saving graces of this hotel. But wait, you also get instant coffee (2 small cartons of water and a percolator) and 2 cookies for your early-morning perk-me-up! I suppose being just next to the airport (along with its sister hotel across the street - Clayton Hotel) is just about what you pay a hefty premium for. But, if only the Dublin International has shower facilities, we're willing to pay up to US$ 50 (per person) just to shower and gladly sleep inside the airport instead!

This mediocre hotel is far too expensive for what it offers. The food was unpleasant both meals I had there.

Always stay at the Maldron when in Dublin, clean, excellent facilities and location, but mostly such friendly and helpful staff...

Convenient, walking possible to both terminals, quiet.

Very quiet and clean. Short walk from airport but there is a shuttle. The breakfast, though good was high priced

Good AC and clean bathroom. Not noise proof. You can hear traffic and planes. Expensive for one night with no breakfast and the check in experience left a lot to be desired.

Everything was great Clean and staff was very helpful. I would stay there again. It was also very quick to get to the airport.

Great place to stay near airport! You can bus into town. Don't let the outside fool you. The inside and restaurant is great. Rooms clean and it's so convenient. I don't love Dublin as it's too noisy so this is a great place to stay when I arrive to explore other parts, or have a super early flight! Allison, who works at breakfast is fabulous!!! All the staff are SO nice!

It was strange doing online check ins and check outs. But the staff was very helpful and assisted as the online check out was not working.

Perfect location for an overnight stay - I literally walked from Dublin Terminal 2 (approximately 500m) to the Maldron. Early check-in (for a fee) was an option that I took advantage of, getting into my room shortly after 11am and allowing me to venture out. The room was clean, shower was great, bed very comfortable.

Pent Hotel, rent. Stort bad. Shuttle bus til flyplass.

Great location for access to the airport. You can hop no an airport shuttle bus a short walk away at the terminal, if you have time to spend a day in Dublin

Great for over night flight. Bar food was good! Lounge needs update especially seating but staff very friendly and room very clean! Always stay here when we’re traveling to airport!

We just stayed over one night and left for an early flight I gave it 4 stars due to the cost
