Close enough to walk into sorrento, plus the roof top hot tub at sunset was a highlight of my 3 week trip. Overall hotel and staff were excellent.

Our was really great and the staff were really amazing/extremely helpful. The room was great ( we had a partial sea view) but it’s definitely a no frills hotel room. It’s also not very “modern” but had the most important item, an A/C so we had no complaints. The bathroom was also pretty small with a small shower and not much counter/vanity space. Breakfast was good, mostly continental with some warm time. It was great for a quick bite before an excursion or for a slower morning. Beyond providing great recommendations that also helped to arrange the excursions and day trips for us. It felt like the options the hotel provided were sometimes better than what we saw online. The hotel itself really well located. It’s not “central” but was only a 15min walk or a less than 5 min bus ride into the downtown area. We actually walked majority of the time because it felt so easy and even as two young women we did not feel uncomfortable walking really late or early. Not being in the middle of it all actually was great for us because the main downtown area felt so crowded. Even if we didn’t want to go all the way into the downtown area there were still some nice restaurant right near the hotel and the hotels bar actually made surprising great limoncello and aperol spritzes. Hotel also had some really gray views

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop jacuzzi and sitting area was wonderful. The gym was well equipped and clean. The staff were very helpful with area information and can book things for you with transportation right at the hotel. You can walk down to the center area with all the shopping, restaurants, laundry, etc. just be aware that the first part doesn’t have a sidewalk and the traffic is heavy, fast, and the road is curvy. It was a bit hairy walking. There is a bus available. There is a wonderful family owned restaurant right near the hotel that I would recommend. The air conditioning in our room never worked. They said they were working on it. You can’t leave the door open because the traffic is so noisy. The sea view is nice and there is a tiny balcony available. The garden view rooms look at a wall it was odd. I reserved 3 rooms with the option to pay at the hotel. The plan was for each of the rooms to be paid for by the couple staying in them. Unfortunately they charged my credit card for all 3 rooms without my authorization. They said it is a system thing that they couldn’t rectify. They need to fix this. It was infuriating as my credit card wad charged $3,000.00. They said a credit would take a month or more. The breakfast was excellent and the staff in the room were very helpful, friendly, and efficient.

Hotel was very nice. People were superduper friendly very accommodating breakfast was awesome. View was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotel Britannia staff were very helpful and courteous at all times during our stay. Room was basic but very clean and comfortable. Towels were thin and as I have found in other European hotels, no wash clothes provided. Soundproofing between rooms was poor.

Very pleased with this hotel! It was extremely clean and in a very good location with a beautiful view from the rooftop lounge area. Walls are a little thin so you could hear your neighbours snoring but aside from that, zero complaints!

Loved the rooftop terrace. Great views from there, plus a nice whirlpool tub to soak in at day’s end. Road noise was a thing. There were no sidewalks on the road, so that was a bit hazardous. Getting around was by bus or taxi. The bus service was good and easy to anticipate using Google Maps. The staff was terrific. Super helpful. They had access to tours that picked you up and dropped you off at the hotel. The prices were comparable to booking it on your own, so it was a no-brainer to use their available tours. We did Capri and the Positano/Amalfi tours. Both were great!

Staff was wonderful. Nice room, great rooftop deck with a hot tub and amazing views of the med.

We enjoyed our stay, overall, but a few minor complaints. The hotel is an enjoyable walk down to Sorrento, although slightly more difficult going back up. Buses were sometimes full which made things a little difficult. Breakfast was good, but not great. The rooftop terrace had good views, but it was usually too hot to sit up there.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was limited in scope but adequate. Our room had a balcony with sea view, but this was undermined somewhat by a road with heavy traffic directly outside the hotel.

The hot tub closes early, around 1900 so found that strange. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. They need to rearrange their refrigerators, they were hot and in a closed space. Nice views from the balcony and right across the street from a bus that goes to town which is great

The staff was absolutely wonderful. They serve a lovely breakfast every morning and are always cheerful and helpful. Great location away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to or catch a quick bus. I highly recommend this property for the value and comfort.
