La bellezza di Ischia senza il caos di Ischia....

Excellent customer service, excellent food, excellent location. Alessandra at the front desk is the best together with staff at the restaurants and all crew in the hotel. We would like to return soon.

The scenery was amazing and the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious! It was great to get away from the crowd and enjoy a relaxing vacation. I wasn’t expecting the additional cost for the taxi boat each way to get to Ischia Ponte to be able to walk around, shop and dine.

Das Hotel liegt in einer Bucht die am Besten mit dem Taxiboot erreicht wird. Die Besitzerin Alessandra kümmert sich um die Anreise vom Hafen. Über das Festland kann die Unterkunft nur über einen steilen Weg erreicht werden. Der Vorteil dadurch ist die Ruhe. Die Anlage verfügt über verschiedene Ebenen. Eigene Liegestühle am Strand, am kleinen Pool und auf der Sonnenterrasse sind verfügbar. Direkt neben dem Strand sind heiße Quellen im Meer. Optimal wenn man den Trubel entfliehen will.

Great place to get away from it all. People were very friendly. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble.

Nice quiet location with great views and nice private beach. Not convenient if you want to make multiple trips back and forth to the town center

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful. All the staff were welcoming and very friendly and went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable. Alessandra in Reception was especially helpful and the other receptionist stayed much later than usual, as we were very late arriving. The hotel arranged trips by water taxi and transfers to and from the ferry, making for stress free travel. Food and service in the Ristorante Da Maria was very good, we loved the beach, breakfast on the terrace and wonderful views. Our room was spotless and we were offered use of hotel facilities the day we checked out, which allowed us more time in the pool and on the beach, before we checked out. A perfect break - just wish we could have stayed longer!

Il luogo dove è situato l’albergo è molto bello e panoramico ma solo questo è l’unico pregio.È un albergo con 4stelle ma nn ne merita nemmeno 3 .la stanza è piccola e gli arredi risalgono agli anni 70 , tutto l’albergo avrebbe bisogno di una totale ristrutturazione .E nn ne parliamo del bagno senza bidet e con il water nel box doccia, orribile.Non so cosa ha spinto i precedenti ospiti a rilasciare una recensione positiva.Appena sono arrivata e ho visto le condizioni della stanza ho chiesto alla reception di avere un’altra stanza anche con una differenza di costo.Mi è stato risposto che mi avrebbero accontentato.Non ho saputo più nulla se non il giorno dopo quando ho chiesto notizie nel merito e mi è stato risposto che non erano riusciti a contattarmi , ma avrebbero potuto, se avessero voluto, perché il primo giorno sono stata in albergo.Riguardo alla colazione continentale ,non ho mai trovato ,in nessun albergo dove ho soggiornato, il tavolo che mi era stato assegnato,già pronto e cioè’ piatti preparati e coperti con la pellicola con cornetti ,frutta ,marmellate e etc Questa cosa è sicuramente da evitare in un albergo con 4 stelle.Riguardo la piscina con acqua termale consiglio di eliminarla Mi dispiace rilasciare questa recensione negativa,ma non sanno cosa significa fare turismo.Sono stata in tanti posti e in tanti paesi ma nn mi sono mai trovata in questa situazione.Ischia è un posto meraviglioso è incantevole ma se le strutture alberghiere sono così è da evitare.

Emplacement top mais qualité de l’hôtel pas à la hauteur. Service très moyen et petit dej continental digne d’un Formule 1. Dommage.

Our stay was absolutely incredible. We felt so at home throughout the entire stay. Gianni and Alessandra were so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us during our time!! Would highly recommend staying here any time I’d come to ischia. I would also now choose to stay in ischia because of this hotel over any of the other islands in amalfi coast!

Stayed here for a spell of hot weather this past summer, and liked it enough that I'm planning to go back next summer. Room was very clean and comfortable, staff were helpful and courteous, and the beach was lovely. Regarding the beach, in particular I was happy with how relatively private it was, as well as how well marked off the boat lane was. I've stayed in other places where the swimming area's cheek by jowl with the boat area but the separation wasn't well-marked, so I am glad it was so well-marked here. The only downsides were that the bathroom, curiously, wasn't air conditioned, and the breakfast, which was fairly scant. In fact, everything else was so good I felt let-down by the breakfast; ended up eating a lot of toast in order to fill myself up, and on the third day I just flat-out bought bread in the nearby town so I'd have something more filling to eat in the morning. Otherwise, I was entirely happy with my stay.

Amazing views , worth the trip just for these . Bed uncomfortable, room small but sea view just lovely and air con essential. Breakfast basic. Very clean, helpful / kind staff.

Great location and friendly staff. Both the hotel restaurant and the neighbouring pirate restaurant have extensive menus. Lovely island.

Management is not on site. They were unable to check us in late and we arrived with no place to stay.

Hotel Da Maria is beautifully located with its own private beach and restaurant. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well specified with an excellent shower and air con. Cleaning staff do a great job maintaining the rooms and hotel. Clean towels are provided everyday. Their is a small swimming pool with loungers, a large patio area with tables,chairs and sun loungers or residents can walk down a flight of steps to the beach. For some the steps may be the deal breaker. For anyone with difficulty walking or climbing they might be a challenge as the property is a tiered structure built on the hillside. Also travel to and from the local town of Ischia Ponte is by small boat or water taxi as it is referred to. It is a well organised and efficient service and i found it a charming and enjoyable experience but again those afraid of water or unsteady on their feet it may prove another deal breaker Food is excellent in the restaurant.....would i recommend, yes would i return, again yes
