Hotel Il Convento was a wonderful hotel, the best on our trip to Italy. The staff was great. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.

Riktigt trött hotell. Istället för att rabbla det som var dåligt fyller jag i med det som var bra. Läget var bra, frukosten var över förväntan om man ser till helheten, servicen av personal var mycket bra!

I was concerned about staying in Naples because 20 years ago I visited and didn't feel safe. But I can heartily recommend Il Convento. The location is parallel to Via Toledo, which is a busy shopping street, with a metro station just a few minutes from the hotel. It is safe (if you can avoid the psycho scooter drivers that are everywhere in Naples) and convenient for most things in the historic centre. The room was well equipped. Although it looked dated, everything was clean and in a good condition. Beyond that, the hotel provided extras that the more expensive hotel I stayed in afterwards didn't for example: slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, a razor, a comb and free bottled water. The shower was a powerful waterfall shower and it was heavenly. One of the best showers I've ever expereinced. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the tv, where the majority of channels didn't work. This may have been fixable, I didn't ask so I don't know. The front desk staff were very helpful and gave good advice for places to eat. Staying there in November, the price was excellent value for money, and I would have no qualms about staying there again if I returned to Naples.

Very conveniently situated. Area was lively but noise not a problem. Rooms simple but attractive and comfy. Reception staff were most helpful and friendly...with any requests but also with great advice for visitors. We would definitely go back!

A lovely boutique hotel. In the middle of the iconic Spanish quater yet near to the designer shops and a short walk to the marina and boat terminal.Room was small but exceptionally clean. The shower room was stocked with lots of toiletries including hair straighteners. Breakfast was outstanding. All fresh food catering for every taste.

Great location in the Spanish Quarter and convenient to all of the sites. Be warned that it is a busy area with cars and motorcycles driving constantly through the narrow streets.
