Well, what can I say? Arguably the best hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure. Arriving and greeting was super friendly, all staff were attentive. The room itself - lovely. Little touches such as slippers and travel size moisturisers and another amenities kits were welcome. The hotel, despite being on the main road, was quiet and what can I say about the view… I stayed in room 329. Exceptional view and I set my alarm for the sunrise and was not disappointed. Breakfast was excellent with a range of hot and cold food. I had the granola followed by egg muffin, scrambled egg, sausage, ham and cheese. I left my luggage with the hotel after check out and a taxi was arranged for later (€200 to the airport - takes 30 minutes). The hotel is a short walk from the train station and I ventured down to Cinque Terre, easily doable in a day. I came to the hotel from Genoa, again easy. You will not be disappointed with this hotel!

The staff is amazing... the staff and the location is a big 5 star review. The location is just perfect and the service is 5 stars. They gave us a very convenient parking because I was traveling with two seniors and a dog. Definitely selecting the right hotel can change your experience at 100%. And the terrace, with the view of the see was simply amazing.

Would highly recommend this hotel. From our driving holiday around Italy this has been the best so far. Comfortable bed. Clean modern bathroom. We had a sea facing terrace which I recommend you get. Good breakfast selection. Helpful staff. Location was perfect for walking to the ferry to Portofino, restaurants and the market. Minor issues. Loses one point for the very noisy plumbing and fridge in the room. Mattresses are two singles and we kept getting a gap between them. These things wake you up during the night. Everytime someone flushes the toilet there’s an air gap in the pipes. And the parking garage was 30€ per day. It’s a bit of a walk and whilst you park on a private floor. At this time of year we could have parked for 24€ per day on another floor. No kettle to make drinks in your room. First place we have been they didn’t have this. Small pool on the roof which will be lovely in the summer. Double glazing is excellent. We didn’t hear any noise from the road. Electric shutters so you can make the room very dark. Bar prices were good. Santa Margherita was by far the best area to stay here. I wouldn’t stay in Portofino. Nice to visit for a couple of hours but there’s nothing there.

Accueil très pro et bienveillant, échanges en français ce qui est appréciable. Parking à proximité, chambre très propre, calme et confortable avec vue mer et port. Petit cocon dans une station magnifique. Je recommande chaleureusement.

The room was spotless, the staff went over and beyond with making us feel comfortable. Bringing us a kettle and cups to our room and champagne upon arrival! ( I think that's because we are Expedia VIP). Wonderful breakfast.

Highly professional staff welcomed us with a free upgrade room and a bottle of prosecco. The staff was helpful in guiding us on sites to see and things to do. The bar staff was friendly and welcoming. We felt at home in this hotel. The television streaming services did not work well but this was a minor inconvenience. Overall I give this hotel an excellent rating.

O atendimento foi excelente — equipe extremamente gentil e acolhedora desde a chegada. Fomos recepcionados com uma garrafa de espumante, um detalhe especial que tornou o início da estadia ainda mais encantador. O ponto forte, sem dúvida, é a vista. Todos os quartos de frente têm perspectivas diferentes para o mar e para a praia, cada uma mais linda que a outra. É impossível não se apaixonar! O quarto, embora não muito grande, é bem confortável, com cama excelente e chuveiro ótimo. O café da manhã é variado e de ótima qualidade, servido em um ambiente agradável. Foi uma experiência maravilhosa do início ao fim. Se eu voltar à Itália, especialmente àquela região, certamente me hospedarei novamente no Hotel Laurin.

Well, what can I say? Arguably the best hotel in Santa Margherita Ligure. Arriving and greeting was super friendly, all staff were attentive. The room itself - lovely. Little touches such as slippers and travel size moisturisers and another amenities kits were welcome. The hotel, despite being on the main road, was quiet and what can I say about the view… I stayed in room 329. Exceptional view and I set my alarm for the sunrise and was not disappointed. Breakfast was excellent with a range of hot and cold food. I had the granola followed by egg muffin, scrambled egg, sausage, ham and cheese. I left my luggage with the hotel after check out and a taxi was arranged for later (€200 to the airport - takes 30 minutes). The hotel is a short walk from the train station and I ventured down to Cinque Terre, easily doable in a day. I came to the hotel from Genoa, again easy. You will not be disappointed with this hotel!
