Love this place. Friendly staff. Clean and organized.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in the Hotel Celestine Tokyo Shiba. We stayed in an Executive Corner King room and it was comfortable, spacious, and had a great view of the city. The hotel is conveniently located to subway and train stations providing access to all of Tokyo and a short distance from the Tokyo Monorail for a quick trip to Haneda airport. The staff was wonderful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Tokyo!

I recently stayed from 15 Jan-21 Jan for our honeymoon, and while we had a generally positive experience, there were a few things worth mentioning. First, the staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to acknowledge our special occasion, which was a lovely touch. Check-in was smooth, and they made us feel appreciated right from the start. The hotel is located in a quieter area, so it's not near any nightlife or many nearby attractions. If you're looking to be in the heart of a vibrant area, this might not be the place for you. However, there are several restaurants within walking distance, which made it easy for us to find a meal. The breakfast buffet was a nice perk, with a variety of options to choose from. Unfortunately, the fitness room didn’t have any weights, which was a bit of a letdown if you enjoy a more complete workout. Our room, while clean and well-appointed, was a bit on the small side. It was cozy, but felt cramped at times, especially with our luggage. If you're looking for more space, you might want to consider a larger room. Overall, I’d recommend for its friendly service, cleanliness, and quiet location. The staff's thoughtful recognition of our honeymoon made the stay feel extra special. Just keep in mind the limited nearby attractions, room size, and lack of weights in the fitness center. It’s perfect for a peaceful, low-key getaway but may not suit those looking for a bustling area or extensive gym facilities.

Pros: Great hotel. 5 minutes from the Shibakoen metro station. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very good options for breakfast. Very clean. Good amenities. Spacious double room. Cons: having plastic curtains in the bath doesnt really match the beautiful and sophisticated atmosphere of the hotel. The fabric of the bed sheet and banket is the one that makes you sweat and wake up ferling uncomfortable in the middle of the night even with the AC on.

The staff was always welcoming and polite! My brother and I were assisted by Manami on our first day and she was very helpful.

Charming hotel in a quieter district of Tokyo but with excellent connectivity via both subway and JR train lines. Moderate level rooms are compact but very well designed with excellent bedding and nice touches such as robes & pyjamas. A unique feature of this hotel is the Guest Lounge on the 14th floor that offers a nice place to relax & meet fellow travellers. A definite bonus are the complimentary drinks (including wine & beer) & snacks served in the early evening. Overall a comfortable, well located hotel with friendly, efficient & professional staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I would happily stay at The Celestine again.

The service is amazing, even for Tokyo. Very clean and quiet.

The hotel was in a quiet location, and walkable to a few of the major subway lines. The staff were attentive. The spa facilities were a nice touch. The rooms were small and dated, and while housekeeping would attend every day, they did not do a thorough job at cleaning the rooms.

Friendly staff, easy check in. Close to many stations & restaurants. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower. Guest lounge was great for an afternoon drink before heading out to dinner. Great buffet breakfast, many western & Japanese choices. Only downside, no laundry onsite. Tip - on Mita subway line use exit A8 as it has an elevator if you have luggage. A10 if you are happy to use stairs.
