Very kind staff. They were very helpful in securing restaurant reservations on our behalf. The room is very nice and has a modern Japanese style. I especially loved the outdoor onsen (can be reserved).

The most tasteful, kind and comfortable boutique hotel in Kyoto. So much nicer than a big chain and near the Higashiyama sights

The rooms are tasteful and architecturally lovely, the bath was refreshing, the service was superb. Watching the drone show over the shrine gate was an extra plus. Truly a gem.

Higashiyama Shikikaboku Was one of the best parts of my vacation. It offered beauty and relaxation after exploring Kyoto all day, which is exactly what I needed. The hotel room had everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home. The staff were the highlight of the stay, they are amazing people. They made sure we were well taken care of and were just genuinely warm and friendly. They were very very helpful and professional. Best hotel experience I’ve had so far! My husband and I enjoyed their healthy breakfast menu as well as the architecture and interior design. We are excited and cannot wait for our next stay at this hotel!

初めての滞在でした。 　・ゆったりチェックイン。 　・キッチンの有るお部屋で、夕食を温めたり出来ました。食器等も充実しており非常に便利。　 　・露天風呂が最上階に有りますが、心地良い造りです。真冬はもう少し湯温が高いといいかも。 　・朝食。いつも同じかは分かりませんが、ポークのパテが美味しい！野菜やドレッシングも秀逸。 　滞在中ハプニング連発⁈でしたが、その都度副支配人さまの対応が素晴らしかった。 　車で行かれる方は、周辺駐車場の休日駐車料金にある程度覚悟を！(笑
