Fantastic set piece Japanese breakfast if that’s what you’re after. Rooms well designed and relatively large. But for all the focus on food, onsen, etc, don’t neglect the basics, like not leaving hair in the bedrooms and cleaning the walls properly. Cleanliness a definite negative. The design of the hotel with the small floating reception area also made it feel somewhat impersonal in my opinion.

Breakfast was great (even more so because nothing else is open early). Rooms might be a touch on the small side (normal for Japan) but the amenities and location more than make up for it. Onsen was clean and nice as well. Would absolutely stay again.

I chose the Japanese Style King room, and after 3 nights, I have to say, I picked the wrong room. It is not comfortable. It's not easy to navigate the room with no chairs or regular table. The bed is low on the floor and the sitting is on the floor, so expect to stand up from the floor a lot if you choose this room. The room is 375 sq ft (which is not bad), but it feels very small and crammed. The bathroom also feels small. There is no room to place your suitcases, so we ended up placing them on the sitting area. There is no wardrobe to hang your clothes, and there is little shelving. Expedia lists this as a 4-star, I say it's a 3-star. Amenities is limited. There is no coffee in the room. The hotel doesn't have ta q bin pickup service (luggage out-going transfer). Luckily there is a ta q bin office nearby. Location-wise, it's great. Omicho market is right across the street. And a couple of small malls also nearby. Hakomachi next door has many restaurants inside too. The hotel is also within walking distance to main attractions. Also, it's quiet. Yes, I'd stay here again, but definitely in a more normal room, and lower my expectation of the '4-star' rating.

The location is very nice - quiet but still convenient (located in the mid-point between Kanazawa JR Station and Chaya District). Extremely clean and well-maintained. The public bath opens early at 5am and we went to enjoy it when we woke up early due to jetlag. Staff are very friendly.

The room and facilities were clean, sleek, stylish, and upscale. Service in the hotel and restaurant was a little cold, not as welcoming as other experiences. Onsen doesn't allow tattoos, which was disappointing after staying at many other wonderful hotels that had no issue with tattoos. But the highlight was the breakfast. Honestly this was the best food of our entire visit to Japan. Gourmet, seafood-centric boxes filled with absolute deliciousness.

Relaxing, calming aesthetic and ambience. Room sizes are decent with comfortable beds and modern TVs with all the expected apps like netflix, youtube etc. Staff were friendly and helpful

Centrally located Japanese modern hotel. Pictures shown are more impressive than property as most of it is plain corridors and minimal decorated rooms you won’t get same feeling as in images. Restaurant serving Japanese breakfast (no coffe..), dinner is fix menu and cross street there is fish market with plenty of local food at better prices. Room is minimal well designed but small to Japanese standards. Have all you need. Price was reasonable for location. No space to hang around in a cafe or lobby. No parking in premises bit behind the building there is a Parking garage 24h. Suit NOMAD population.

Fantastic set piece Japanese breakfast if that’s what you’re after. Rooms well designed and relatively large. But for all the focus on food, onsen, etc, don’t neglect the basics, like not leaving hair in the bedrooms and cleaning the walls properly. Cleanliness a definite negative. The design of the hotel with the small floating reception area also made it feel somewhat impersonal in my opinion.

Breakfast was great (even more so because nothing else is open early). Rooms might be a touch on the small side (normal for Japan) but the amenities and location more than make up for it. Onsen was clean and nice as well. Would absolutely stay again.

I chose the Japanese Style King room, and after 3 nights, I have to say, I picked the wrong room. It is not comfortable. It's not easy to navigate the room with no chairs or regular table. The bed is low on the floor and the sitting is on the floor, so expect to stand up from the floor a lot if you choose this room. The room is 375 sq ft (which is not bad), but it feels very small and crammed. The bathroom also feels small. There is no room to place your suitcases, so we ended up placing them on the sitting area. There is no wardrobe to hang your clothes, and there is little shelving. Expedia lists this as a 4-star, I say it's a 3-star. Amenities is limited. There is no coffee in the room. The hotel doesn't have ta q bin pickup service (luggage out-going transfer). Luckily there is a ta q bin office nearby. Location-wise, it's great. Omicho market is right across the street. And a couple of small malls also nearby. Hakomachi next door has many restaurants inside too. The hotel is also within walking distance to main attractions. Also, it's quiet. Yes, I'd stay here again, but definitely in a more normal room, and lower my expectation of the '4-star' rating.

The location is very nice - quiet but still convenient (located in the mid-point between Kanazawa JR Station and Chaya District). Extremely clean and well-maintained. The public bath opens early at 5am and we went to enjoy it when we woke up early due to jetlag. Staff are very friendly.
