Vi havde glædet os til den sidste del af vores rejse, men blev desværre mødt af ringe service i receptionen. Efter en 7 timers transport kom vi frem til hotellet - her skulle vi selv spørge ind til morgenmadstider + sted. Da vi spurgte ind til hjælp med lidt aftensmad, kiggede personalet op og ned af vores tøj, hvorefter vi fik besked på, at den fine restaurant krævet en anden påklædning - så vi skulle nok vælge poolbaren. Den anden sidste dag, fandt vores datter ud af, at vi kunne tage til et andet hotel med vandland (gratis da hotellet ejet det andet hotel) samt at der var aktivitets kalender - hvor og hvordan man tilmeldte sig anede vi ikke. Derudover skal man ikke betale ekstra for havudsigt, den er yderst begrænset grundet store flotte træer i haven. Lækker morgenmad og god service ved poolen og poolbaren 👍

Very good!

I wished they told us that this was a Family Holiday hotel. The place was packed with screaming kids, especially around the swimming pool which was tiny. When the fully clothed families packed this pool, the water became murky and smell. Pretty horrid. There is absolutely no eating places in the neighbourhood. And the traffic jams to get in and out of the place meant you are stuck eating at its Coffee Shop with the screaming kids for the duration of your stay. The staff were extremely friendly though.

Fint hotel, god service, dejligt værelse! Morgenmad er fin, set bort fra alt for meget larm og for mange mennesker samlet på et sted…. Man skulle definitivt dele restauranten op for bedre atmosfære! Det samme gør sig gældende ved aftensmad- stressende atmosfære og lydniveau over det udholdelige! Et stort minus ved hotellet er manglende strand!!!!! Der er intet tilbage af stranden længere, og man skal gå 500-800 m for at få sand mellem tæerne! Mikrostykke strand ved hotellet på 3 m, kan ikke bruges til at ligge på og ej heller bade ved, pga både og jetski ligger til her konstant! Dejligt hotel- ingen strand!

We absolutely loved this hotel - the room was spacious and well kept and stocked. Shout out to our daily room attendant, Momin who was very pleasant and responsive/perceptive to our needs. Loved the pool and the garden and whole property including the spa where you get your services in your own mini villa - that’s luxury! The pool was also amazing with excellent service for food and drinks and towels. Every morning as soon as they saw us they would walk over with the towels and set up the loungers for us. When it got busy we noticed that the attendants would work hard to find loungers for everyone including bringing chairs over from another area to the pool area. Saved the best for last - the food is incredible - the selection especially of local foods/dishes and taste! Shout out to the dining room manager, Vijay who seemed to be there all the time and working hard to provide the best service to us guests. For us, this was a hotel that clearly goes above and beyond so kudos - keep it up, we will definitely be back and strongly recommend it to family and friends!

Absolutely amazing stay and staff are the best in the world

Food could be better though

The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Right upon check-in, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms was great. The additional amenities for the Rasa Wing guests is well worth it if you're planning to enjoy the hotel throughout the day. They offer a complimentary tea hour, as well as a cocktail hour. It is around a 30-40 minute drive to George Town, so not that convenient if you're planning to visit the town often. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Rasaya wing, as we always go for a suite. The room size, layout, the ambience everything was perfect. The access to the lounge was a bonus that we didn’t expect. The staff were fantastic. The only downside was the quality of the vegetarian options. What we ordered for in room dining was totally unpalatable even with hungry stomach. Looks like they have no idea about vegetarian cooking. I did speak to the Chef and the manager about this. Because we would like revisit this property for a longer duration.

Pleasant stay at hotel and friendly and helpful staff.

Beach area outside property is under construction and water condition average. Property grounds are well maintained but getting old. Staff is very friendly.

Check in experience not good, no smile, not friendly, slow and dosent know what she is doing. Keep asking the same question despite answered her 3 different times. Prolonging the check in process by Asking to show my hotels.com booking number so on and so forth. I have drove 5 hrs to reach ur resort n very tiring.. Totally different from Shangri-La KL check in process which is fast n friendly. Bell men ignoring u just because im an asian dosent mean i dont tips.. not helpful at all even seeing me with a lots of luggage n bags. But when westerner came in, swamp to them. Room very nice and great view. Water pressure slow. Bath room pressure Became even slower (like 2 lines of pee) if i on the balcony bath tub tab to fill up the tub. Bath tub not clean by Housekeeping staff dead insects still around with aged n dried lizard poos Housekeeping runner Hassan(not room attendant Hassan on 2456 floor) very accommodative , knowing im having leg sore , he placed the 2 hard pillow at the bottom of the bed. FNB staffs all with a smile. Chef at roti bakar prepare the roti without me asking after the first day he know how i want my roti bakar. Impressive! Check out experience very professional and great by the indian lady (not able to catch her name) The whole experience changed from worst to great by the caring runner, attentive fnb staffs n the great checkout experience.

Quiet sanctuary.

Nice resort and rooms looking onto pool and beach area have a nice outlook. Large breakfast areas, we were in the rasa wing with club facilities, food in lounge was nice, staff in lounge were lovely however the lounge is v large and often extremely busy. There isn’t really a beach as the coast has eroded and is all rocks. We had a pleasant stay however have been in nicer shangrila hotels.

Great breakfast buffet, wonderful staff and awesome pool.

The property is rundown and service is appalling. No-one was equipped with answers to my queries and the staff is running around like chickens without a head. Very disappointed with the whole experience

We stayed for two 3 nights, but they forgot to make up the room two days. Some of the spotlights were broken inside the room; and even the door (keypad) went broken during our stay. Despite the not-so-nice condition, staff are friendly and helpful.

This is quite old as hotel, a little bit under the Shangri la usual quality, rooms need a refresh. anyway breakfast buffet top. Staff very friendly, location excellent, outside structures good I will back certainly

Facility -everything was perfect! Well- deserved five-star hotel. Neat and clean furnitures and well- cared garden and pool. The breakfast is must have. Try local coffee. Try egg cooking. All staff was gentle, well trained. The most of the request you have come true. One thing I have to mention is the environment of the hotel. The traffic is awful. Crossing street is always challenging.
