The property is beautiful, quiet and well maintained. Its away from the busy beaches of Langkawi with its own private beach. We found it relaxing, tranquil and most of all stunning. What we found impressive was the attentiveness of the staff, in particular Zulkeffly who served us during our meals everyday. He even took the effort to make reservations at another restaurant for us. Will definitely come back.

We had a great time at the Danna. The staff is incredible.great kids club for our son. Everyone was super helpful. The only thing I would say is that the hotel is a bit tired. Needs updating on many fronts. But overall we were very happy

We arecompletely amazed by this luxury hotel. From the staff to the facilities, everything is simply flawless. The team truly goes out of their way to assist you and even remembers your name. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary massages and refreshing towels, a lovely touch! The check-in process was smooth and personalized, with no waiting in line. Initially, we had booked the Merchant room with stunning Marina views, which was beautiful, but we were offered an upgrade to the Viceroy room with a sea view. We qualified for a complimentary upgrade, but for some reason, there was a charge, which was fine, and we don’t regret it at all. The room was exceptional, featuring a four-poster bed and ample space. The bathroom was impressive with his and hers sinks. Each room comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, which is fantastic. My only minor concern is that the mugs are quite large and don't fit properly under the machine, causing them to tilt. Unfortunately, when I left the machine unattended, the mug fell and broke. It might be wise to consider providing appropriately sized mugs to prevent any accidents. The swimming pool was wonderful, offering plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Breakfast at the Planters was incredible! You can choose between à la carte and a beautifully arranged buffet. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! There are numerous dining options available as well. Without a doubt, this is the finest hotel I've stayed at during my extensive travels across Southeast Asia. Our experience far exceeded both our expectations. Malaysia is known for its 'Malaysian Hospitality,' and after living here for 18 months, I can confidently say The Danna embodies that ethos in every way. Every aspect of the hotel reflects quality - from the superb food to the best cocktails we’ve had in the region. But what truly sets The Danna apart is its outstanding staff. They are genuinely attentive, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make each guest feel special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Danna Langkawi. My wife and I are already looking forward to our next visit!

Langkawi is a small island, so renting a car is a must to explore—but honestly, we were so glad we chose to stay at The Danna! Our suite was absolutely perfect—beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We loved both the pool and the private beach—warm, relaxing, and the white sand was just stunning. The entire resort is immaculately kept, and the service is truly next level. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay special. There’s even a lovely library on site, which was such a pleasant surprise! The location is great too—just a short drive from the famous Langkawi Cable Car. From the food and drinks to the thoughtful amenities and outstanding hospitality, everything at The Danna is top-notch. Our family was genuinely so happy with our choice—we’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Dining was an absolute delight. Each restaurant delivered outstanding cuisine and flawless service, but the pinnacle was a magical beachside dinner for my wife’s 50th birthday. The setting was breathtaking, with waves as the perfect backdrop, and our personal server ensured every detail was exceptional. The Verandah Bar added to the experience, with attentive, engaging staff crafting expertly made drinks in a sophisticated setting. The reception team was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, ensuring every need was met with grace. The chauffeur service provided a seamless, elegant journey, adding to the resort’s refinement. Spectacular hotel. It was a cross between the Taj Mahal and Raffles of Singapore. It was a regal experience.

Great hotel, very clean, fantastic ocean villa with private pool, very tasty breakfast, service can be better as they are not properly trained, but overall an amazing stay!
