We had a great time at the Danna. The staff is incredible.great kids club for our son. Everyone was super helpful. The only thing I would say is that the hotel is a bit tired. Needs updating on many fronts. But overall we were very happy

We arecompletely amazed by this luxury hotel. From the staff to the facilities, everything is simply flawless. The team truly goes out of their way to assist you and even remembers your name. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with complimentary massages and refreshing towels, a lovely touch! The check-in process was smooth and personalized, with no waiting in line. Initially, we had booked the Merchant room with stunning Marina views, which was beautiful, but we were offered an upgrade to the Viceroy room with a sea view. We qualified for a complimentary upgrade, but for some reason, there was a charge, which was fine, and we don’t regret it at all. The room was exceptional, featuring a four-poster bed and ample space. The bathroom was impressive with his and hers sinks. Each room comes equipped with a Nespresso machine, which is fantastic. My only minor concern is that the mugs are quite large and don't fit properly under the machine, causing them to tilt. Unfortunately, when I left the machine unattended, the mug fell and broke. It might be wise to consider providing appropriately sized mugs to prevent any accidents. The swimming pool was wonderful, offering plenty of areas to relax and unwind. Breakfast at the Planters was incredible! You can choose between à la carte and a beautifully arranged buffet. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! There are numerous dining options available as well. My wife and I spent three nights at The Danna Langkawi in late June 2025, and it was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, this is the finest hotel I've stayed at during my extensive travels across Southeast Asia. Our experience far exceeded both our expectations. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that guest care is at the heart of everything this hotel does. Malaysia is known for its 'Malaysian Hospitality,' and after living here for 18 months, I can confidently say The Danna embodies that ethos in every way. Every aspect of the hotel reflects quality - from the superb food to the best cocktails we’ve had in the region. But what truly sets The Danna apart is its outstanding staff. They are genuinely attentive, thoughtful, and go above and beyond to make each guest feel special. A heartfelt thank you to everyone at The Danna Langkawi. My wife and I are already looking forward to our next visit!
