I really enjoyed staying in Westin hotel in Langkawi. I extended my stay there for two more days. The room was nice and clean. Outdoor pool was really nice facing the sea view. Breakfast was very good with a variety of dishes. I also liked restaurant breezes next the reception. They had delicious dishes and drinks there. Fitness center with good equipment was really spacious. I was just alone exercising there. Hotel personnel was very professional and friendly, especially I liked massages at the Spa of the hotel.

We liked The Westin very much. Staff was excellent. Rock pool was nice. A very peaceful place to relax. We recommend this resort. Only one thing that I want to bring up is the room with balcony we booked said it was 585 square feet. I stayed in many 585 square feet rooms before. It was not. Maybe 385. Other than that, Westin Langkawi was very nice, with great people working there. Thank you!

We liked The Westin very much. Staff was excellent. Rock pool was nice. A very peaceful place to relax. We recommend this resort. Only one thing that I want to bring up is the room with balcony we booked said it was 585 square feet. I stayed in many 585 square feet rooms before. It was not. Maybe 385. Other than that, Westin Langkawi was very nice, with great people working there. Thank you!

Below expectations.. Unfortunately, we found the experience fell short of what we anticipated for a property of this caliber and price point. The resort itself feels somewhat dated and outdated in certain areas. While the overall grounds and atmosphere are pleasant and relaxing, the rooms and facilities show signs of age that don’t fully align with current 5-star standards. Given the high rates and our expectations for safety, maintenance standards, privacy, and guest care at a Westin property, we were left quite disappointed. While the relaxing setting has potential, several key aspects like room condition, view accuracy, value for money, and handling of security and maintenance concerns need significant improvement. We would think carefully before recommending or returning.

The staff at the Westin were brilliant, the property could do with slight improvements but it’s nothing that was too noticeable for our comfort. Everything worked and we really enjoyed the villa. I wear a hijab and we found out we could also request a screen for the pool area for a charge of 600 MYR. This was brilliant as I could make full use of the private pool area. The breakfast was okay with lots of choice. Our only con would be our mattress had a real noticeable dip on it but we didn’t mention this to staff, which I’m sure they would have done something about it as service here is 10/10.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days after more than 24 hours of traveling, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the very beginning. We had booked two rooms and had contacted the hotel in advance to ensure everything would be ready upon arrival. Despite this, neither room was ready when we got there. We had paid for an all-inclusive package, but many dishes were not actually included, leaving us with a very limited menu. On top of that, there were only two restaurants available, which made the dining experience quite repetitive. Both rooms had a very unpleasant smell. I reported this to reception, but nothing was done to resolve the issue during our stay. Overall, the hotel feels very outdated and poorly maintained. It is marketed as a Westin property, but upon arrival, everything is branded as Marriott, which was confusing and misleading. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and the furniture on the balcony was in a disgusting condition. As someone who enjoys quiet mornings with coffee in the sun, this was impossible—the property is heavily occupied by monkeys, which made it uncomfortable to relax outside. The beach was average at best. The sunbeds were in very poor condition, and the towels seemed old and worn out, with an unpleasant smell as well. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not return.

We loved staying at this resort for a girls trip. Such warm staff and elegant surroundings. Great choice of dining and pools plus not too far from airport and main town. Monkeys played on our balcony’s, local cuisine was delicious and relaxing by the pool was perfect. Thank you!

I really enjoyed staying in Westin hotel in Langkawi. I extended my stay there for two more days. The room was nice and clean. Outdoor pool was really nice facing the sea view. Breakfast was very good with a variety of dishes. I also liked restaurant breezes next the reception. They had delicious dishes and drinks there. Fitness center with good equipment was really spacious. I was just alone exercising there. Hotel personnel was very professional and friendly, especially I liked massages at the Spa of the hotel.
