Beautiful beach and location. Staff were excellent . Shout out to Gini on front desk and David one of the restaurant managers who went out of their way to help me. Also thanks to duty manager who met me on my check out to see how my stay had been. This hotel has everyone at an affordable price

Extremely outdated and old facility with a horrible customer service. Nothing close to the quality of service once gets in Mauritius

I stayed at this hotel for one night and, overall, the experience had some great highlights but also a major disappointment. On the positive side, the property itself is beautiful. We had a room close to a quieter pool, which felt much more secluded than the main one. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and the whole area was very relaxing. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the biggest let-down — and unfortunately a significant one — was the food. Both dinner and breakfast were far below what you would expect from a hotel that presents itself as 5 star, especially in Mauritius where standards are usually very high. For the price we paid, the quality was simply unacceptable. It wasn’t just us who felt this way; several other guests expressed the same disappointment. To their credit, one staff member took our concerns seriously. Since we were on an all-inclusive package, he invited us the next day to one of the hotel’s restaurants and personally arranged a lovely lunch for us before we left. This gesture was genuinely appreciated and showed that some staff truly care about guest satisfaction. In summary, the hotel has a lovely setting and excellent staff, but the dining experience — particularly dinner and breakfast — was a major drawback. With consistently better food, this could have been an exceptional stay.

The staff is excellent and exceptionally helpful. Special thanks to receptionist Dini, buggy driver Sanjeev, trip coordinator Melanie, and the wait staff who remembered everything about us. Met some delightful people. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Temperatures of air and ocean are ideal (Oct.). Caution for those who have difficulty with stairs or long walks. There are workarounds, but they require golf carts (“buggies”) to be called.

Einfach eine superschöne, ruhige Lage, großzügig genug in einem ehemaligen botanischen Garten. Mein Deluxe plzs All incl Zimmer war mit 58 qm sehr groß, sehr sauber,, große Dusche, Fön, Duschgel, Shampoo, Condituoner, Seife, Bademantel, alles vorhanden. Servicepersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das SpA ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Genug Liegen am Strand und Pool. Bügelgelegenheit vorhanden. Strom wird mit Zimmerkarte am Eingangsstecker aktiviert

All the service was good (cleaning staff, restaurants etc.) except the front desk. Except a couple of staff, most of the time they were rude, unhelpful. Had to ask the same thing several times (just to unlock the door cuz they deactivated my card key before the check out time) but never get it done. Check-in was very slow, no info, they said wait here, then 20 mins past, then another staff came, told same thing but no one came for another 10 mins. But other than the front office, the resort is good, gardens are beautiful, nice area to stay in.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the Maritim Mauritius! Superb facilities, immaculately clean and sublime food. All delivered by wonderful staff. This 5* hotel certainly lived up to expectations.

Liked everything All good

Wonderful staff, lovely rooms, stunning beach and pool. Paradise setting. Extensive buffet and choice of restaurants, but make sure you book tables for your stay, as soon as you arrive.

It was a horrible stay. We took all inclusive package but nothing was as directed by hotels.con description. Even the water was charged leave apart the drinks. The food was served cold. Zero service. Very limited good to eat.

Un Hébergement de qualité malgré quelque point négatif Une chambre donnée à 15h alors que nous sommes arrivé à 9h à l’hôtel après 15h de voyage Une chambre rendu à 12h alors que nous partions de l’hôtel qu’à 18h30 si nous voulions la garder il fallait payer…vu le prix du voyage je trouve ça abuser 1 bouteille d’eau par jour sinon payante sachant que l’eau n’est pas potable Un mini bar oublier d’être rechargé Un service d’écologie mis en place, très bonne idée mais des cacahouètes en guise de cadeaux dans un sac en plastique ou est l’écologie ? Mais sinon très bon voyage

Wouldn’t recommend. This hotel has an awful lot of rules which quickly became an irritant for us. They open up to a lot of “day visitors” which spoils things for the staying guests; the pool becomes incredibly busy, particularly at weekends when it is descended upon by a lot of families with young children and groups of teenagers. The main diner also turns into a chaotic free-for-all. The dining “experience” was a particular let down. Flies all over the food, terrible service from staff, you have to find for your own table otherwise you’ll never eat, we had to set our own table by hunting down clean cutlery and glasses and had no alternative but to drink water that we had in our bags from the minibar. Only one small toilet services two large restaurants, an entire pool area and a large pool bar which means it regularly turns into a disgusting crime scene. Biggest gripe has to be the staff - unprofessional and poorly trained. The waiting stuff were particularly bad and on the occasions that we actually did get waited on they would be rude and incompetent. Avoid!

Le domaine de l'hôtel est très jolie, propose pleins de choses à faire et visiter mais pour un 5 étoiles la chambre était pas propre a notre arrivée ainsi que durant le séjour. Nous avons eu un problème avec la baignoire et il a fallut plusieurs fois leur dire avant qu'elle soit réparée. Pour les repas l'hôtel n'est pas digne non plus d'un 5 étoiles ( desserts chaud pas très bon, pas de fruit locaux sauf le melon ) sur les 6 restaurants seulement 4 étaient ouvert et ils proposaient tous la même chose. on étaient en AI et tous n'étaient pas compris dedans du coup un peu dessus de l'hôtel on s'attendaient à un autre standing.

our 10 day trip was fantastic. the staff from the time we arrived until when we left. were brilliant. there was nothing to hard, our questions were answerd and our requests delivered

Le Maritim propose des prestations convenables mais dont la qualité est irrégulière et parfois médiocre (propreté de la chambre déplorable, activités trop souvent indisponibles, certains restaurants sont fermés plusieurs jours dans la semaine et parfois impossible à réserver faute de places, un seul restaurant sur 7 est ouvert tous les jours, qualité de service inégale selon les serveurs ou le bar/restaurant, patienter longtemps et faire appel au personnel en plusieurs fois avant de pouvoir passer commande et d'être servi alors que l'endroit n'est pas rempli avec le sentiment bien souvent de déranger) pour un hôtel 5 étoiles qui dans les faits correspondrait d'avantage à des prestations inférieures. L'ensemble doit être revu et modernisé.
