Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Plaza Genova was overshadowed by a very negative experience with two staff members, Tania and Oscar. We were charged 250 pesos for a “lost” parking ticket slip, which they claimed was missing and blamed on us. Later that same day, we found the ticket inside our car, meaning it was never lost. Despite this, they refused to acknowledge the mistake or refund the charge. They also did not want to listen to my husband when he tried to calmly explain the situation. Their only response was that they were “following hotel policy,” yet this policy was never explained to us at check-in, nor were we informed about additional charges if a parking ticket was supposedly lost. It’s frustrating that they insist on enforcing policies that weren’t disclosed, especially when the issue resulted from their own mishandling. What made the situation worse was their unprofessional attitude, acting as if they had absolute authority and no accountability. Several other employees even expressed discomfort with how these two behave at work due to their romance relationship which further affected our perception of the hotel’s management and professionalism. This experience left us feeling disrespected and disappointed. The hotel itself may be fine, but interactions like this with staff can completely ruin a guest’s stay. I hope management addresses this seriously so future guests don’t go through the same situation.

Instalación muy bien y el personal muy amable

Golpearon mi auto en el estacionamiento y no se hicieron responsables, iban a revisar las cámaras de seguridad y no me resolvieron nada! No lo recomiendo

The hotel's rating as four-star should be reviewed and re-evaluated. Nothing from the pictures and ratings could have prepared me for the poor condition of this hotel. An extreme disappointment.

Personal y limpieza

They’re remodeling the fourth floor. Heavy machinery and excessive noise started around 8:00am. Impossible to rest with that much noise. If I would have known of this situation, I would have stayed in a different hotel. Could sleep well. Never staying here again.

Customer service was a bit rude, the ladies at the counter just looked over at me and continued their conversation not asking if I needed assistance. Then when I told them that I had already signed paperwork and just needed the room key, they laughed and turned to talk among themselves. One of them even said something beneath her breath and laughed. Rude

Limpio, céntrico, excelente ubicación. Personal amable, tiene restaurante en el lugar, buenos precios, porciones promedio. Solo el segundo día de mi estancia no pusieron tapete para la regadera ni toalla de manos. De ahí en fuera todo muy bien.

Al llegar al hotel un chico de recepción fue muy descortés , viaje por trabajo y tenía una junta dejé a mi esposa y mi hija, y no quiso atender a mi familia porque yo no estaba, yo las dejé y me retiré a una junta importante y me hizo regresar

La ubicación del hotel inmejorable, el personal y habitación excelente. Definitivamente volveremos a reservar ahi.
