The rooms were okay, but there was a smell in the washroom, and basic items weren't included, despite being requested from the front desk. The air conditioner was not as great either, and it was hot. The rooms were okay, but there was a constant smell in the washroom, and some basic items weren’t provided even after asking the front desk several times. The air conditioner also didn’t work well, and the room was uncomfortably hot. The worst part was the scammy “membership.” The staff pushes and practically forces you to buy an overpriced membership in exchange for a $30 discount and promises of huge savings on excursions like Chichén Itzá and other tours in Mexico. In reality, those “discounted” prices were 2–3 times more expensive than what we found elsewhere, and the membership presentation was just a useless 3–4 hour lecture. I also want to mention that Hernan, one of the managers, was very rude and did not pay us the full amount we were promised after attending the membership lecture. Overall, I would not recommend staying here or getting involved in their membership program – it’s a waste of time, and they put a lot of pressure on you to buy it.

Beds are hard horrible hard ,horrible customer service at check in. All night construction on rooms , food isnt good never will be back

Check in took 1 hour and half horrible service , my room was switched that was booked 7 months in advance thy said because of rain damaged but members have 1st priority, the rooms beds are horrendous extremely hard , the food was a hit or miss, over all worse hotel i have ever stayed in cancun do not go based off the pictures advertised , i guess its a cheap hotel you get what you pay for

Las habitaciones cómodas y el personal muy amable, solo que las comidas están horribles, no vale la pena el pago del todo incluido, otro detalle, esque solo tienen dos oñ elevadores y tardan mucho en bajar o subir , así como también fallan mucho, hay que esperar mucho tiempo para tomar uno

I gave 1 star due to receptionist staff and manager making disappointed on first day arriving and ruined all our vacation. I booked park royal beach Cancun on Expedia and Expedia app child age is 0 to 17. So my older kid is only 13 years old, so I booked with 3 adults and one child. The last minute my another son wants to go with us then no time to change our reservation on Expedia. When we arrived on hotel and we provided everyone passport and the staff told that they count over 12 years old with adult price and added the charge $149 per day in same room. I keep trying to explain that we booked Expedia with child limit was 0 to 17 years old. Manager guy told me that this is their hotel rule, so no adjustment for my kids for child fee and only extra charge for adult fee for my 13 years old kid. My question if if they can’t clearly with third party like Expedia or booking , the customer doesn’t know and booked. Then we knew about the child limit is 0 to 12 years and too late to cancel and book another more suitable price other hotel. If we didn’t pay for extra charge child with adult fee, we do not have room key and nobody care the customers to making satisfaction. It was really disappointed. I planed my trip for 5 months ago , I knew about it when we arrived to hotel and no more choice other plan. If I knew about it, I will be cancelled before my trip and booked another hotel with more reasonable price. Now ruin my entire trip and pay extra charge +$900 for 6 days stay .
