Even though I did not end up going because the booking was wrongfully allowed while there was no availability, Bayan's quick turnaround, responsiveness, immediate dealing with the Expedia live agent and refund were truly commendable and much appreciated.  He extended his assistance with recommending a different resort in the area which was very nice. I am still leaving this review to acknowledge his remarkable and professional service and  outstanding troubleshooting skills to reconcile. Many thanks Bayan and much appreciated again!

My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at Banyan Resort. We wanted an authentic Mongolian experience and a chance to sleep in a yurt, and Banyan was perfect. The resort is only a few years old but extremely clean, cozy, and well run. The staff could not be kinder. We rented both a yurt and a cabin since the yurts don’t have bathrooms. The yurt was incredibly warm and comfortable—even in October at –12°🏔️—and the cabin was a great addition with its bathroom, shower, and beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains and wildlife. The food was excellent. They have a real chef, and they went out of their way to make delicious gluten-free meals for my sister. We also booked a tour through the resort, which became one of the best parts of our trip. Our guide, Anand, was the best guide we had in Mongolia or Korea. He was passionate about sharing Mongolia, took us to meet a nomadic family, showed us the National Park, helped us try archery and hold eagles, and taught us so much about the country’s history. He even drove us to Ulaanbaatar afterward, toured us around the city, and recommended great food and shopping. He went above and beyond in every way. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend Banyan Resort for anyone wanting comfort, warmth, and a truly authentic Mongolian experience.

We stayed for a week, and it was an amazing place. The food is top notch, the must try is their tsuivan, pizza. One of the best service staff we have experienced, Saihna was kind and attentive to us. Last but not least, Annad, our tour guide at the resort have taken care of us meticulously throughout our whole stay. We have such wonderful memories created together. Looking forward to coming back next year. Highly recommended!
