The room was tidy and had everything that was mentioned when we booked the hotel. Great location with good pricing.

The owners of the hotel were so deceptive. If you look on their add you will still see that they offer breakfast. When we arrived and asked about breakfast the excuse was that we arrived late and they needed our reservation for breakfast made earlier. We heard they say the same thing to other guests upon arrival. After speaking with employees of this hotel they confirmed they do NOT provide breakfast, not even for purchase and haven’t done so for a very long time. Also we let them know there is no running water in the sink of one of the bathrooms, no light above the mirror in our room, the hair blower did not work and the pillows are small and lumpy. They said they would fix the items but never did during our 3 night stay. Also, we asked for some heat as it was very damp (temperature outside was down to 14C at night and 16C during the day). Their response was they couldn’t do it until the fall. Others were wearing coats and staff sweaters. The great thing about this hotel is the location. I do not recommend this place because of their deception overall. They don’t care about their guests but sure do like taking our money.

Notre séjour devait durer 3 nuits mais au bout d’une seule nuit nous avons décidé de partir car au bout de quelques heures de sommeil mon mari s’était fait piquer sur la tête, le bras et la main … par des punaises de lit. On nous a laissé partir en nous disant qu’un expert passerait. De plus la chambre était sale et les murs et le sol étaient en mauvais état. Nous sommes restés moins de 24h..

I would not return to this hotel ever. The people there were very rude. Most of the electric outlets in the room didn't work. The bed is very old and uncomfortable. There is a window but no ventilation. The bathroom was dirty.

Hay varios hoteles de igual o menor precio en el área, no reserve porque tenían baño compartido, esta propiedad igual. No estoy segura de checar bien este detalle pero el final por el precio nos ajustamos a esta situación. Todo esta cerca, hay negocios, atracciones, restaurantes, etc. muy céntrico. Al final todo resultó bien

Honest review. Pros - The owners were lovely dont know why there are lots of comments about the being rude. The location is amazing with fantastic links to all locations via trams and its nice and quite especially for being in the city. We didnt eat breakfast but the facilities for dinning was clean and well laid out. The bed was large enough and comfortable, i always take my own pillow when i travel. We also had doors which open onto the balcony. Cons - the hotel does feel quite outdated and a bit more like a hostel. We paid extra for a private bathroom, these arent attached to the room but it wasnt that much of an issue to be honest. Overall we had a really comfortable stay it just felt like it needed updating a little

The owners were helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent, and the building was quiet considering how central it is. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything was quite compact, but serviceable. I would stay here again.

The staff at this hotel are super helpful and friendly. I suggest only booking a room with a bathroom in it. The bathroom we had to use was so tiny it was hard to use. Overall it was ok, they could do a few minor upgrades like, more than two hooks in the room to hang your cloths, a fan when it's hot and a hook or two in the separate showers to hang your clothes while showering. If you have trouble with stairs be warned, the steps are very narrow.

Jättetrevlig personal, nära till centrum, fint område med bra restauranger och barer. Inte så fina rum men fräscha och praktiska. Inga problem med delad toalett eller dusch:)

Location is great for shopping, eating and being a tourist. Clean and very safe. Warning to Americans who are new to the Netherlands, the stairs are very steep so I am grateful we were 1 floor up. Also, shared toilets and shower rooms may be a shock and they are pretty small at this hotel.

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The location is excellent—very central—and the shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Our room was quite spacious and had a lovely view of the canals. The older gentleman who welcomed us (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) was very kind and friendly. If I had to mention something less convenient, it would be the narrow staircase, which might be challenging for guests with heavy luggage or limited mobility, as well as the number of doors to reach the room. We were only given towels on the last day, thanks to the cleaner who kindly left us a couple. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel: it’s clean, centrally located, and very accessible

Pierre and Mary were absolutely amazing and they really try to comfort you and meet your expectations. Extremely friendly, chatty and funny and they accommodate to your every need. I’ve enjoyed my stay here and would come again.

Central Amsterdam, can walk everywhere from here. Right outside train station Very friendly couple so own it

Buen trato del personal, fueron muy amables y atentos, ubicación a tan solo 15 min a pie del centro (barrio rojo), cerca de todo, con muchos comercios alrededor, las instalaciones limpias, sin grandes lujos, muy buena relacion calidad-precio. Muy recomendable.

I found what I was waiting for which was not too high

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Nur für eine Nacht ok. Die Betreiber sind ausgesprochen freundlich! Die Zimmer sind in einem eher schlechten Zustand und renovierungsbedüftig. Nachts waren die Nachbarn im Nebenzimmer sehr laut. Insgesamt würde ich aber nicht wiederkommen.

Had just one option of a bathroom outside of the room, but was for me only to use, thou clean got flooded within few min of shower. Staff was great and straight. She let me checked in earlier as the people left earlier from my room which was the best thing ever

Lovely rooms, the rooms are spacious but the toilets and showers are tiny! Nothing bad though, just a heads up. Also you can hear your neighbors most of the time but other than that it’s pretty peaceful
