Wonderful location, beautifully designed hotel, great customer service, very clean! One thing as a suggestion to the management - beds and pillows need to be updated. Mattress sinks and pillows don’t feel that comfortable. Other than that - GREAT HOTEL!

A beautiful boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. We were warmly welcomed by Gabby, and was offered a room, even though we arrived before the check in time. This was very much appreciated, after a long flight in. Do keep in mind there are stairs at the front door, and narrow steps on the 3rd floor to get to your rooms (in case you have heavy luggage). Rooms were clean and cozy. The only wish was to have more table surface/shelves/hooks to put our essentials. There is not sufficient storage if you plan to stay for more than 3-4 days. There are several tram stops within a 5 minute walk from hotel. The hotel is also near the Vondelpark, so its a nice walk through the park if you're heading towards Leidesplein or Rijksmuseum. The neighbourhood is safe but since it is primarily a residential area, there is not a lot of foot traffic, especially at night. We had a lovely stay at Maison Elle Amsterdam, and we would return the next time we're in Amsterdam.
