The location of the hotel was quite convenient, with a tram stop right across the road making it very easy to get around the city. However, there weren’t many local shops nearby, as most amenities were on the other side of the city centre. Thankfully, the tram made travelling simple and straightforward. The staff were the highlight of the stay – really friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They couldn’t have been nicer, and their service was excellent. That said, the hotel itself needs some serious refurbishment. It is advertised as a 4-star, but in reality, I would rate it more like a 3-star. The cleanliness was disappointing – there was dust on the phone and lamps, hairs on the bed and in the bathroom, and the floor did not feel properly cleaned. The paint was peeling from the walls, which added to the tired feel of the place. On the positive side, the room size was adequate for our needs, but overall, the property would benefit greatly from a refresh and more attention to cleaning standards.

Clean room & very friendly staff

Das Hotel riecht insgesmat sehr schlecht und das Zimmer wo wir drin waren war ziemlich beengt und am nächsten Tag hat es auch richtig gestunken. Toiletten haben keine richtige Tür, also keine Privatsphäre. Wer klaustrophobisch veranlagt ist und geruchsempfindlich sollte es sich gut überlegen. Die Lage des Hotels ist in Ordnung, es liegt zwar an einer Hauptstraße, aber man kann mit knapp 15 minütigem Gehen die erste Grenze der Innenstadt erreichen.

Nice hôtel!

Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Zimmer sauber, Frühstück sehr gut. Leider sind die Parkgebühren für das Auto in der ganzen Gegend sehr teuer ( €6.73/h)

Der recht hohe Übernachtungspreis ist für diese Unterkunft nicht gerechtfertigt. Es war alles sauber, das Personal freundlich. ÖPNV-Haltestelle direkt davor. Das Zimmer war jedoch sehr billig ausgestattet (Sperrholz etc.) und rechtfertigt diesen Preis in keinster Weise

Breakfast was really good. I use a walker and its around 8 steep steps to get into the Hotel. All the reception workers watched me struggle to carry my walker upstairs until the very last night a worker informed me there was a handy cap entrance that I could have used that went straight to the elevator, very sad to be treated like this with a disability.

Van dit hotel moet je geen echte luxe verwachten, ontbijt is goed genoeg maar niet zo uitgebreid als in grotere hotels, nog altijd meer dan een standaard ontbijt. Kamer was klein maar goed genoeg, wel jammer dat er totaal geen standaard zenders op de tv waren, gelukkig vonden we wel een aantal prima zenders maar wel in het Engels. Voor ons waren de bedden wat aan de zachte kant, maar dat is toch persoonlijke voorkeur, het is verder een prima hotel maar er zijn wel dingen die echt wel beter mogen. - Gehorigheid: de deuren van de kamers sluiten best hard, en doordat het in de gangen best gehorig is hoor je dat erg goed in de kamers, ook stemmen en lopen is goed te horen. - Service: Toen wij na de dag na de eerste nacht terug in de kamer kwamen, was het bed weer opgemaakt en ook de handdoeken waren vervangen, maar dat was het dan ook. Onze kopjes en glazen waren niet vervangen dus moesten we ze zelf goed omspoelen, er waren ook geen nieuwe koffie cupjes bijgelegd, dit is het eerste hotel waarbij wij dit ervaarden, en is iets wat normaal wel gebeurd. - Overig: Ik merkte bij het ontbijt dat de messen waarmee je smeert beide keren niet helemaal goed schoon waren, dit is wel een aandachts puntje. Verder is het hotel prima bereikbaar met het OV, tramhalte voor de deur, wij sliepen aan de achterkant dus merkte niks van de straat. Je kan makkelijk een aantal dingen te voet bereiken vanaf het hotel (Artis, Scheepvaart Museum, Hortus Botanicus), dus er is genoeg te doen in de buurt.

Kaksikerroksinen Duke-huoneisto oli siisti ja ihan ok, mutta meillä se oli vilkkaalle kadulle päin ja makuuhuoneen ikkunat katutasossa. Kengät vain vilkkuivat 😂. Oli vähän totuttelemista. Ei loppujen lopuksi haitannut. Pienet käsipyyhkeet sai pyynnöstä. Aamupala oli monipuolinen ja riittävä.

Comfortable room good location

Overall it's a great place to stay. It is a bit off of city center so it's a bit quieter but there is a tram and bus stop right outside of the hotel which was very convenient. If I have any complaints at all it would be: 1) That we weren't informed that we had to inser out toom key into the slot just inside of the door to turn on the room's electricity and it drove me crazy trying to figure that out. 2) Not sure if all the rooms are like this but the lighting in the room was horrible. A sloped ceiling had can lights in it facing the bed and when they were turned on they blinded you. There was also no way to read at night dince there was no bedside lighting to speak of. Other than than a very nice hotel.

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful part of the city. Staff are always super helpful and warm and friendly. The number 14 tram stop is right outside. Tram ride from Centraal Station takes about 15 minutes. We have stayed at Quentin Zoo Hotel 3 times in the last 4 years and will be staying there again, next time we are in Amsterdam. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

The room was brilliant, but I was located in the basement, which I could hear a lot of noise. The hotel itself wasnt great in terms of looks but it did it's job. I wouldn't say it was a 4 star hotel though, which is what I was expecting. It was more like a 2 or a 3 star.

Amazing place to stay

The staff was very friendly (5 stars) but the room was in a bad need of remodeling/updating. Bathroom tiles looked like they were about to fall off, all door handles did fall off, the hardwood floor was very worn out. This is nowhere near a 4 star accommodation, it feels like a hostel with a very expensive price of ~400 Euro per night. Much was made in the reviews about the breakfast, but again it was a very basic but expensive fare. One can get much better breakfast within 1 min walking distance for much less.
