Hotel Terranova

It's a relatively centrally located and good budget hotel. The staffs were receptive, helpful and accommodating. I'd definitely go there.

They did construction on the bathroom one floor above me for five of the seven days I was there. Loud grinding, scraping noises for five to six hours a day. I asked for a different room and they said they would try to reaccomodate me. Staff was indifferent.

So most of the staff were really nice there was a huge language barrier from English to Spanish Google translated a lot to help. The hotel was nice and the location was great probably not another visit to this hotel. We had a lot of issues checking in and when we got to our room, our bathroom was flooded and I was not able to get fresh towels. I had to beg the front desk and the staff to get some extra towels so that when the water leak was happening, my parents wouldn’t slip in the bathroom. It took almost 30 minute conversation. Then there was the ordeal of the ice they wouldn’t allow me more than just 2 cups of ice and there are five of us in the room. Then there was the thing of the air-conditioning it took almost 3 hours for them to come and fix the air conditioning in our room. I have two kids and two older people. You can imagine how tense that three hours was in the room. We were also supposed to have complementary breakfast at the hotel but did not get it at all. I even asked about it and showed them a check out. There was $100 deposit which was fine. Didn’t know about that but that’s usual, but then what happened is that they added on some extra taxes and fees that was not a part of the original bill that was annoying to under understand why they were charging additional fees right now right the room itself wasn’t too bad. The room did why didn’t needed to do. It was for two nights wasn’t bad. down the street on the block was an amazing coffee shop Toasta.

Good enough for the money

Taxes / Fees is usually included at reservation price and they charged me again at the check in. Paid taxes twice. Hotel has mold and a strong smell overall. My bathroom door was broken, falling down and couldn’t be closed. It’s a cheap place, but they could be more careful with these “details”.

You have restaurants very close and a gas station. The bathroom was old, towels were clean but stained.

Las habitaciones necesitan un poco de mantenimiento, pero en general están bien. El personal es amable. LA ubicación es excelente, hay restaurantes, supermercados, transportación y tiendas de conveniencia cerca. En general es un buen precio por lo que recibes.

room not clean, staff was ok and property outdated. Bedbugs bites on my arms and legs would not stay here again!
