A key central location with easy access to the entire town. The Hotel is quiet and maintains personal privacy very well. It is located adjacent to San Juan's main street. The room was very large, exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were both communicative and eager to help whenever asked to do so. Fresh water was available on request, and the Wifi and air-conditioning were all very welcome! The allied restaurant served relatively high-quality food, and the portions were of good size.
This is a good hotel from which to visit the neigbouring beach of Hinunangan, and the mini-islands of San Pablo and San Pedero located just off it's coast. Hindag-an waterfall can be enjoyed too if to leave San Juan in the opposite direction.
Can’t say enough good things about this property. The staff were lovely, the owner very welcoming, the food excellent (I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner - I recommend the calamari and spicy chicken) The only slight negative was the strength of the WiFi which kept dropping out apart from that it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
The property is centrally set in the seaside, safe, peaceful, tropical town of San Juan (Cabalian), in the foothills of an inactive volcano, Mt Danao. The town is known for it's hospitality and local attractions including, Lake Danao, the Sinabligay Fiesta and the Wet & Wild Festival. On the property, there are two main options for accommodation, a very modern section and a renovated Ancestral House section. We loved the ambiance and charm of the older section and chose to stay in a room with a private bathroom and air conditioning. In the room we had a comfortable beds, plenty of space and had a very enjoyable stay. The host, Connie was very lovely and the service provided was excellent. We have already booked return visits.
