Great place to stay upon international arrival or departure of the Philippines It is , safe, convenient, clean, the food is great and the price is fair. Located a stones throw from Terminal 2 and offering a shuttle to and from is a life saver Rooms are a ckean, spacious and peaceful making it a perfect place to rest after a long international travel with multiple stops. The only suggestion I have is the bathrooms need upgrade. The deep tub is very tall and difficult to step over and it's easily to fall while showering. Really needs to have a walk-in shower.

This place is horrible - old, outdated - checked into our room - toilet would not flush, no bath towels were given - had to call down for those. Stayed here last week also - for the convenience to the airport —— was checked into a room that had been used. Escalators to the ground floor have been inoperable for the past week, at least.

It is hot in the Philippines.. they should always make sure their A/C is working and the room is cold before the guest arrives. I checked in at 11 pm and i did call the operator to inform them that the room is very warm and it seems like that the A/C is not working and she said they will send somebody. I waited until 1230 AM and nobody came. I have to use my small battery operated fan to cool me off. It was so warm in the room. The water pressure is very low that you can not even have a good shower.and also the mini fridge.. You can not change the settings.. it will take you the whole day to cool up your water bottle.. I am giving them 3 stars and that is already a generous one.. should be 1 star..

Mu breakfast foods was amazing. The Filipino food was served and tasted great. The staff were accommodating and kind. The room is clean and the style is really antique, its old. An improvement on the amenities needed to be upgraded to suit the modern style ambiance. I rated my stay low due to amenities. My TV was not working and the airconditioning was really a big disappointment.

Fiancé arrived early and had to wait which is understandable however at 3:35 pn still no room and hotel staff was not very accommodating nor friendly where other folks also arrived early and were allowed to check in early. Communication needs to be improved to let guests know what is going on. This was 2nd stay there and only good point was distance to the airport.

The superbly friendly and helpful staff at this hotel is the only saving grace and if it’s a must, its location right next to the airport. Other than these two, find a different hotel. The initial room I was given had a non working AC. (Mind you, the area’s temperature is in the upper 80s (fahrenheit) with an 80+ % humidity. So, it’s hot and you’re sweating!) They offered me their Executive Suite and transferred me there. Superbly generous of them I initially thought until I discovered the AC situation to be the same, the hot water doesn’t work, the bathroom floors weren’t vacuumed properly and, all the wicker furniture, which is essentially ALL furniture, needed detailed dusting. They serve very good food but there’s plenty of good food in the area.

Non-working escalators, not being aware of having to book the shuttle (had to pay for a Grab vehicle), poor signage at the airport which would easily indicate that the hotel is walkable - outdated brown wicker furniture - Terrible —- room assigned had been previously used - had to return to desk to get a different room.

When we arrived the AC wasn’t working properly, neither was the TV, we complained at 3pm when we checked in, we asked multiple times for a room fan and 6 hours later there was still no room fan, we got a room transfer to a new room that also had broken AC, then we finally got a fan from their room service worker and not receptionist. Won’t stay again for that price, didn’t eat the overpriced food either.

Water supply to the room was very limited and weak. You had to hold the shower knob for a good while to allow water to travel up the pipe and have enough back pressure to keep the shower on. When any other water (sink, toilet, etc) was turned on , shower stopped. Only enough water for one usage source. Toilet would not flush , without opening tank and manually pushing down on mechanism inside. Mildew was severe around base of toilet, shower grout and tile grout in spots on bathroom floor. Hallway outside the room , carpet had been soaked by something and entire hallway smelled moldy. Carpets are vintage , likely a decade old .. very bad shape in all common areas , dirty black appearing almost like they had been used on a city sidewalk . Inside the room carpet was similarly old, not quite as worn. The AC would not drop the room temp below 23C. Sheets and linens were clean , towels were frayed old but clean. Walls had water stains and marks throughout the hotel. This was once a fantastic place, palatial and nice , across the street from the airport. (Easy 5 mins walk). Included breakfast buffet was good, selections were limited compared to previous years but food was well prepared. Coffee like Folgers or Maxwell House.. but worked. I really hate to say but we won’t stay again .. and we’ve been in and out a few times over the last 25 years. The staff were attentive and helpful, and doing what they could to serve.

Checkin is at 3pm, got there 4pm, but was checked in only after 5pm. Then the room they gave was very hot. The engineer said give it an hour as it was very hot earlier and that we close doors and minimize use of light. Still ot was very hot. If I did not call to complain and request a transfer, they would have done nothing. The hotel is outdated. The rooms are hot, the carpet in the hallways and inside the rooms smell of old carpet. The only upside is it is literally across the airport and bellboys are helpful.
