The staff are exceptional and everything within the resort is easily reached. The DVD selection for kids is limited and the internet was really only accessible near reception, so download some movies for those moments you need them beforehand.

Great resort, very kid friendly. Staff were truly amazing. Only thing to note is the internet/local TV are pretty much non existent in the rooms. So a tip is pack some cards games etc. Location is great too.

Beautiful property friendly helpful staff as traveling alone it really makes a difference x i arranged a airport pickup which is 100 tala each way pickup driver Tana was lovely told me all about the traditions n culture x very family's orientated people 😊the journey from airport is around 1hr 15 mins but i must say worth it . The holel is very well kept very clean food quality 👌 I booked a private tour on my second day with Farani we visited several place's around Apia the local market and lunch at the marina finished the day with a glass bottom boat trip to see the turtles n a swim in the ocean great day cost off private tour 500 tala , glass bottom boat trip 75 tala fantastic day thank you so much 👍

Well designed, spacious resort, set in lovely gardens. Spotlessly clean. Small private beaches. Lovely pool area, but often noisy with children. Shortage of sun loungers, and often a long wait for pool towels. Quite a good choice on the menu: food ok

A stunning resort with the friendliest, most kind and helpful staff. Beautiful basic rooms, lovely pool and grounds. In good weather, some great snorkelling but in bad weather and high trade winds, a difficult place to enjoy the ocean. Pays to have a hire car but the resort offers daily outings. Amazing menu and often have special events with special menus in the evenings. Also has a beautiful spa onsite but pays to book in advance as it books out fast in advance. Quite far from everywhere so best to plan to stay and relax with a few day trips out. We loved our stay, but personally prefer savaii with its white sand beaches, slower pace and incredible reef snorkelling and swimming. Might just be because we visited during a long period of rain and high winds though :)

The location was perfect to access many popular tourist spots like Ta Sua Trench and the Coastal Lava cliffs walk. The layout of the room was perfect for a family of four and we loved overlooking the ocean. Some door mats and a broom for the room would have been good to reduce sand but loved that there was a tap outside each room to wash feet. Unfortunately 3 days of rain and wind reduced our access to snorkelling and use of water sports and it would have been good for the resort to have rainy day activities linked to Samoan traditions as options.
There was a large selection of options for food but we would only rate the food as average.
Very family friendly with a playground for younger children.

Dozens of cockroaches in hotel book in room. Room keeping average. Sheets had small piles. One pool operating for a busy resort felt small. Food and waiting staff at restaurant great. FiaFia night great although when they say there is kava to try afterwards, there isn't. Overall, okay. Wouldn't stay here again for what we paid for the adults only villa.

I absolutely love staying at Saletoga sands resort. Villas are all very nicely set out with outdoor showers and furniture. Beautiful walkways and spa on site. Short walk from the beach to the pool with a swim up bar. A good variety of food and beverage. Such a nice place to go and relax. I love the big smiles and friendly staff. Lou and Gav have done such a wonderful job growing this rest.

The resort is well maintained and staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were hit and miss ranging from very good at the theme nights to disappointing at breakfast, which was a shame and did take away from what could have been an excellent experience rather than good.

Nice and clean resort and lots of ammenities. A few of the bars like the pool bar and waterside landing bar were not open when we there even though staff pointed us to them which was a bummer. The massage at the spa was great. If you're staying in the hotels room, the wifi did not reach our room and our tv and dvd player were broken and did not work which left us to hang around the reception on the days it was pouring rain.
Great location for exploring the island and doing activities like waterfalls and To Sua Trench.

If you’re wanting to experience authentic Samoa this is not the place. However the rooms are beautiful. Very small pool. No wifi in rooms which is weird considering how family friendly it is.

Beautiful resort. Well maintained, rooms were clean and comfy beds. The daily cleaning staff did a fabulous job. Fia Fia night was well worth it, show and food were great. The BBQ buffet was also amazing with stunning salads. Owners were happy to chat with us and were very friendly. Lunch menu was lovely too. The only down side was buffet breakfast food wasn't great and you have to follow up on orders as the staff service at restaurant was a bit average. Overall a fabulous experience and I would love to return.

Wir haben in diesem Resort 4 Tage verbracht. Wir hatten der Unterkunft ein paar Tage vorher geschrieben, dass wir um 2 Uhr morgens einchecken müssen. Wir hatten nie eine Antwort hierzu erhalten. Als wir ankamen, fanden wir jedoch den Schlüssel und ein Check in Formular auf dem Tresen der Rezeption liegen. Mit einer Karte, die wir in einem Informationsstand fanden, war es uns möglich, nach einigem Suchen unsere Villa im Dunkeln ausfindig zu machen. Der Check in bekommt daher 1 von 5 Sternen.
Zu der Villa, in der wir übernachtet haben. Schön eingerichtet, allerdings ein großes Problem: der Gestank. Da die Klimaanlagen immer zwangsabgeschaltet werden, wenn man die Villa verlassen und abschließen will, werden alle Klamotten und die Möbel, inklusive dem Bettlgen aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit immer feucht. Daher hatte das Bettzeug leider auch den extrem unangenehmen Geruch angenommen. Das ließe sich vermeiden, wenn die Klimaanlagen immer laufen würden und die Fenster geschlossen blieben. Die Reinigungskräfte machen diese jedoch immer beim sauber machen auf.
Ansonsten war die Villa großzügig und mit Meerblick. Ein weiteres negatives Highlight war jedoch eine Baustelle direkt neben unserer Villa, die uns immer morgens um 7:30 entspannt aufweckte.
Zum Service bleibt nur zu sagen: Unterirdisch. Essensbestellungen brauchen ewig, oft ist das was kommt, dann ein falsches Gericht. Das Personal wirkt dabei extrem unmotiviert. Preise dafür sehr teuer.
Die Anlage ist schön.

We had a lovely stay here and would absolutely stay again. Great location, close to a lot of the activities we wanted to do, and our villa was clean and well maintained, as was the rest of the resort. The food was decent, we appreciated having breakfast included, and using happy hour to have a few drinks definitely helped save a bit of money. We stayed in the adults only section though the whole resort looked lovely; the only one villa that I wouldn’t want to stay in would be the one facing the restaurant. We had massages at the spa which were lovely. Our only small annoyances were that it rained a bit during our stay (not the resort’s fault!) but when we said there was no umbrella in our room, we weren’t given one. You also have to return pool towels by 6pm each day when we wanted to swim after dinner. Also the hut at the beach to get gear from wasn’t always open when it was supposed to be. But in the grand scheme of things, they weren’t big annoyances. The staff were helpful, the fiafia night was great and we felt very safe and well cared for. Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back again one day!
