Units were upsold and in a tired, sorry state. No satellite TV as advertised, poor lighting around the area. Spa didn't work, place was half empty and no Live entertainment as advertised. Resturant was dispicable with the chef rushing out mains while starters were still being eaten. My family members got food poisoning. Left the next day (was intended to be a 3 day stay). Contacted the Manager who was neither interested nor apologetic and told us to contact Expedia if we wanted a refund!!

Overall for what we paid it was good value for money, staff were excellent but the property is in serious need of upgrades, it’s still very much a 1980s property, clean enough but it’s not as comfortable as it once was, it was better 15+ years ago when I last stayed and it was tired looking then, I paid a fair price when using my £134 key cain rewards but not sure paying full price would’ve been worth it, a serious upgrade and it could get a serious boost, the food was fair but limited with choice, not sure a steakhouse would be a fair description, again a bit more choice and it could be a busier place, it wasn’t busy at all any of the nights we were in, the lack of choice of food on the menu may have a part in that too.

I have stayed previously but found the apartment quite run down. Broken kitchen plinth, broken conservatory chair, chipped & stained paintwork, stained carpets. Definitely needs a repaint and new, easily cleaned flooring

Cleanliness was poor - we booked a dog friendly lodge (at a extra cost) but still don't expect to have mould on the curtains, lots of other dog hair as an extra carpet and on soft furnishings.
Needs a bit of TLC all round and a lick of paint.
Used the pool and sauna which was good, but the jacuzzi was out of use.
Staff that we spoke to were welcoming and helpful but we didn't address cleanliness until we left. They offered a small refund of half of our dog fee.

Another good stay at this resort, this time in a one bedroom Alvie unit. Everything great apart from the bed being double not king. Enjoyed the golf on the doorstep but didn’t use many other facilities this visit.

Property was in a very poor state of repair which was reported to the Reception the following day. Missing cutlery (i.e. only had 1 dinner knife and 3 side plate knives, 2 dinner forks and 2 desert forks). Pillows were lumpy and hard. All the staff would say it would be reported to maintenance tea. The balcony was split and totally unsafe and should have been addressed immediately and it was not/

Really not sure what to make of this. The chalet was spacious enough, and well equipped in the kitchen, though some of it was very old. This would have been fine if kept clean, but parts hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. The carpet down the side of the bed was thick with dust, layers of dirt on skirting boards etc. It's clear the cleaners just give it a quick wipe instead of actually scrubbing the place. There were however maintenance people out painting and looking after the grounds.
The pool was odd, the water was cloudy and the bottom was full of sand. It was warm enough for my children though. The changing was poor, only one family changing cubicle.
The restaurant wasn't great. They say they're a steakhouse but only offer 2 steaks, and the sirloin one of us ordered wasn't cooked particularly well. The other food was ok, but not hot enough.
Good points: the staff were all friendly, the playpark is good, the walk along to the town is easy.
Given all of this, we still had a good break.

We have stayed here twice now and I will not be back. It is extremely average but gets away with it because of its location. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt after the first time.
Just lots of niggly things around service or lack of. This time we arrived to find several bags of laundry and a bag of rubbish on the front door step. Given the issues we had the first stay I thought I would leave it a day or so to see if anyone came to deal with it. They did not and I disposed of the rubbish myself. I was about to raise the laundry with reception when an employee walked by and said she had logged that to get picked up (as usual, zero apology). The afternoon/evening before we left (day 5) was when it got picked up.
The pool was once again very cloudy and had the extra bonus of piles of sand at the bottom in places. The Chalet itself was very dated and had lots of bits deteriorating.
