Absolutely fantastic service from the moment I arrived; friendly, welcoming staff; gorgeous room; delicious full Scottish breakfast

Good- Breakfast and the staff Bad- i didn't sleep well as room has paper thin walls. You also heard the room above walking around! Its bot great for a 5 star hotel.

Building works are limiting the car parking area and in general making the place untidy.

The breakfast selection and quality of the ordered eggs was absolutely impressive. The service was also outstanding

Excellent break at the hotel

Staff were extremely helpful in all aspects, very friendly. The grounds are wonderful and very peaceful. Would return for another stay.

Breakfast - provide a hot flask of coffee on the buffet table so that guests coming into breakfast can pour a quick coffee into a mug to take to their table. I was gasping for a coffee as I came down for breakfast and tried to help myself to a quick coffee at the table at the bottom of the stairs in Reception but I was stopped from doing this by the doorman and propelled forwards to the dining room. I had to wait for ten minutes, still gasping for coffee, while we were seated at table, ordered from menu, ordered a cappuccino, helped myself to something from the buffet and had consumed it, all before a coffee arrived at our table! Plus, I don’t like the muesli presented in what reminds me of a toothbrush holder - the glass tumbler thing. I would prefer the muesli presented in a breakfast plate (like a small soup plate or dessert plate). The food and coffee is all delightful, a real treat, it’s a dreamy breakfast, so I’m not complaining, just giving you some feedback. When something lovely happens to me in my daily life I call it ‘A Marcliffe Moment’ - just a dreamy interlude of perfection.

Our stay at Marcliffe was wonderful and felt truly luxurious. The staff went to every length to make sure we were comfortable. While there were small mix-ups with our breakfasts, the inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the service of having the meal delivered to our room and the delicious cooked meals. It was so special staying here, and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Staff were very friendly. Room and bed very comfortable. Very quiet. Lovely grounds. Room very clean except for a stain on the carpet and odd orange splashes, perhaps condensation on the bathroom ceiling. Notvwhat onecexpects in a 5 ☆ hotel. Breakfasts were good with an excellent choice. However there were NO labels on food on the breakfast buffet- no GF items labelled. When I asked for GF meusli they said there was none. Overall a lovely stay but this is not a 5☆ hotel. Overpriced for what it is as the room furniture is scuffed although the bathroom was of high quality. Nice to have fresh fruit and bottles of water and milk left in the room each day.

Great staff and beautiful hotel and grounds. Breakfast was amazing.

Great location, parking, clean with very friendly and warm staff. One point to highlight was the heat in the room. Was very hot had to open both windows and put on the fan.

Most enjoyable stay

Just the overall experience was first class even in mddle of building work. Plus staff performance second to none brilliant! Would recommend a stay to King Charles !!

From the second we got close to the door we were greeted like returning friends. The hotel is fabulous and whilst having that great place is very good, it is the staff who make the difference. They were awesome! We will definitely return.

The Marcliffe maintains its status as a top hotel in Aberdeen. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast is stunning. Checkout was an endurance - 15 minute wait due to reception taking calls for the restaurant. More staff on for check out would help that.
