The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city and my room was really spacious and clean. Only minor issue was the noise from the street below but it’s still a lovely hotel.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Es ist ein älteres Haus in gutem Zustand. Vor dem Hotel kann man nicht parken oder anhalten. Über eine Gasse hinter dem Hotel erreicht man einen Parkplatz mit wenigen Stellflächen, der von YourParkingSpace betrieben wird und über eine App bezahlt werden soll. Letztlich konnten wir aber auch im Hotel bezahlen (12 Euro pro Tag). Wir hatten eine geräumige Suite in der ersten Etage mit schöner Aussicht auf die Stadt, den Park und das Theater. Es zog etwas durch die Fenster, aber sonst gab es nichts zu meckern. Das Frühstück war gut und das Personal nett und hilfsbereit.

The Mercure is an older and I suspect much grander hotel at one time. It has a sense of opulence about it with wide staircases, high ceilings and stained glass windows, however there are also signs of aging, i.e. worn carpets, old windows. I think it adds to the charm. The breakfast staff were very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was typical fare, with adequate choices available. My room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. My only complaint was noise made by the fire door slamming shut when people went through late at night.The location was a short walk from the central bus/ train station, and across the street from the union terrace gardens, a little green oasis in this granite city. I enjoyed my stay and would come again.

Good hotel good rates for central location

2nd floor room was clean and comfortable. Kept the window open due to the heat, but was regularly woken up by weekend revellers walking down Diamond Street until daylight. Thankfully the hotel already provided a pedestal fan in the room, so I could shut out the noise. Earplugs were very useful. Parking is small and first come first served. It says you can prepay for it on the map, but no one manages it so you might not get a space, despite pre-booking, save your money. Breakfast was really good, continental and cooked, with a la carte dishes available for a small surcharge.

Room was amazing very clean and well maintained.

A beautiful building in the centre of the city with amazing views of union gardens and the theatre. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed.

Helt ok

Wouldn't stay again. Not recommended. In need of repairs, especially toilet in room. Restaurant poorly staffed and closed at times. Food mediocre and expensive. Front stairs entry has no ramp. Need to tell taxi to use lane entrance which is level with street

The breakfast was buffet style and delicious the bar staff was great. Most of the staff was very kind and helpful.

Rent hotel med fine rom. Selv om det var teppegulv opplevde vi ikke at det var skittent. Ligger veldig sentralt til og i umiddelbar nærhet til alt. Vennlig personale som gjorde opplevelsen ekstra bra.

Great location. Staff were great. Room a bit dated but bed was very comfy. Only issue was the shower button wouldn’t work.

Staff helpful and welcoming. Good choice at breakfast, fresh fruit, pastries, bread and good hot food. Room booked on website (Expedia) no reflection on where I stayed. It was very small and boxy. Old and outdated furnishings abd decor. Wuite depressing. It was clean.

Ett bra budget hotell centralt i Aberdeen. Frukosten var god och rummen var stora.

The single room was small, but not too cramped and had all that I needed. The staff were helpful arranging a boxed breakfast when plans changed to a very early start before the restaurant opened at 6.30am.
