Wonderful apartment. Very cosy, very clean. Decoration is beautiful and everything you might need is ready for you. We had a studio without view (which means there are no windows at all), but it was perfectly ventilated and that didn’t bother us at all (except checking the weather in the morning maybe). Our only complaint is that the bed was a bit small (1m40) for 2 people. We also didn’t receive the correct room number and our code to enter the building was wrong. It would have been tricky if we did arrive as planned late at night.

We had a 2 bed apartment, 1 queen size bed and 1 single. The apartment was huge, really spacious and lots of storage and it’s in a fab location really central for everywhere. First impressions were very good but there were a few issues. The biggest being no ceiling lights in the queen bedroom and living area, only tiny wall lights with yellow bulbs. I couldn’t even unpack my case without the torch on my iPhone never mind be able to see myself properly to dry my hair and put on make up. The girl on reception did try her best to resolve this by getting us some brighter, whiter bulbs for the wall lights and a lamp. We were also offered a change of room but would have to pay £50 which we declined. We managed with the brighter bulbs but overall it did make the apartment feel a bit dark and dungeon like. I imagine it would be better if you stayed in the summer and got more natural daylight. Other than that the shower head popped off a couple of times and the shower screen didn’t meet the top of the bath properly so water went everywhere when you were having a shower. I few minor other things that just took the edge of the overall impression, wire hanging down from behind the tv, part of the radiator was falling off in the hallway and one of the sockets in the kitchen wasn’t working. Overall a few minor changes and attention to detail could’ve made a ok stay and really good one

Really good property for families, great location, access to private garden and park. Kitchen kitted out with all the necessities. There is road noise but didn’t bother us.

Jättefin vistelse. Önskvärt med varsina täcken i dubbelsängarna samt bättre ljus. Rent och fint och en bra och personlig service. Trevligt med ett startkit i köket.

Apartment bereits heruntergekommen und übel riechend, auch nach längerem lüften. Fotos irreführend und nicht einmal annähernd so wie dargestellt. Grundsätzlich sauber wenn man Kleinigkeiten nicht beachtet. Einziges Personal an der Rezeption freundlich. Zentral gelegen. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.

great stay

O hotel fica bem localizado, numa rua tranquila, mas proxima à Princess Street e às principais atracoes de Edimburgo. A equipe tambem é muito educada, gentil e prestativa, fornecendo prontamente informações importantes para aqueles que visitam a cidade pela primeira vez. Com base nessa experiência, voltaria a me hospedar em hotéis da rede Sonder.

The property was clean, aesthetically pleasing, in a great location for walking the city, close to shops and restaurants. Even though you do have a code, there is someone on property for a number of hours during the day. Only downsides, communication was difficult and lacking, and the twin bed in the twin room was uncomfortable for an adult.

We stayed at a two bedroom apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed to get started for our stay. Place was clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of old town and new town. There were tram and bus stations everywhere. We did not need a rental car. The only complaint our beds were very stiff. There was a front desk with a manager when we arrived in the afternoon. The office is closed in the evening. Make sure your reservation is complete before arriving. Uploading ID documentation is very important. Great stay, beautiful gardens behind the hotel. Would stay again.

Sonder apartment is very well placed and was really comfortable. Has all you need. My only negative impression were the excessive charges for checking in between one and three hours before 4pm. I believe is not a good detail charging extra if the apartment is ready as it is already quite costly. They did not reply messages via Hotels.com

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean and well appointed rooms. Easy walk to major tourist stops but with a more neighborhood feel.

The staff was amazing and checking in was very easy and pleasant The property was really lovely and located in best area of Edinburgh. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The only negative was that there were no windows and because it was in the basement, the apartment required to be equipped with air vents and circulation which was very noisy and it could not be turned down and the sleep was disturbed. Overall it was very nice and large apartment in great location.
