Das Hotel in Seoul überzeugt durch seine zentrale Lage und den freundlichen Service. Die Zimmer sind geräumig. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig und die Bettwäsche war nicht besonders bequem. Die Klimaanlage war schwer zu regulieren.

great place, sad time

I had a pleasant 12 days stay at the May Hotel. At first i was confused because it says “Hotel The May” on the Naver App and the entrance of the hotel. We were quite happy with the stay, the area has a lot of food options, and its near ikseong-dong hanok village. We were there for Christmas and the vibes were great. One thing was that the front desk told us there is a aircon option in the room but we called them because it was not working. They said that it was not working and asked us to open the window instead, i dont know how true it was but we were lucky it was winter so we could allow some cold air in. Other things that could be improved was that the housekeeper doesn’t replenish the body soap, i guess its because we brought our own shampoo but we used their body soap. They do provide laundry service for 10000won, im not sure if its the language barrier but we heard “maximum 5kg”, we weighed our laundry and it was only 4kg, but they said it was too much and charged us 30000won instead. There were no other laundry mats nearby too, so we just paid the price. Lastly, there were only 2 hangers available, definitely not sufficient.

4泊、ダブルに一人で宿泊しました。鍾路という、ご飯、カフェ、散策、公共交通等に便利な地域で、有意義に過ごせました。宿泊中、掃除は一度もお願いせず、毎晩ホテルに戻ったタイミングでタオルと水をもらいました。24時間フロントの方がいて、いつも笑顔で挨拶してくださいました。部屋は大変広く、テーブルとイスでくつろいだりメイクしたりしました。トイレはウォシュレット付きで、何も言われなかったのでトイレットペーパーは流していました。シャワーブースとバスタブの場所が少し離れていました。バスタブと部屋はドアなどで仕切られていませんが、乾燥がすごかったので、バスタブにお湯をためて部屋の湿度をあげることができて逆によかったです。立地もホテルの方の対応も部屋の設備もとてもよかったのですが、1つだけ困った点がありました。冬ならではのオンドルです。とにかく部屋の中が暑いのと乾燥するのとで、エアコンはすぐ切りましたが、それでも暑くて窓を一晩中開けていました。部屋の中でオンドルの調節ができそうなボタンなどはなく、フロントに言えばよかったのかもしれませんが、窓を開けるのとバスタオルを濡らしてかけるのとで何とか過ごしました。オンドル問題以外はとても快適！テレビではNetflixや韓国のサブスクTVINGも見られました。思う存分そちらも堪能しました。鍾路の街が気に入ったので、また利用したいです。

Great value for the price.

Everything was great truly, only complaint I have would be cleaning service. I asked if they can change the bedding for clean fresh sheets and they did not do.. :/ also kept forgetting to restock body towels, had to go to the desk every time to ask for them, plenty of hand towels though. They might’ve just mistaken the towels because how they were rolled up and couldn’t tell but still.

Good clean room but expensive for what it is. But that is Seoul! Also Quite difficult to find so have a NAVER map link as google maps does not work. Hotel staff are ok not helpful. Go to closest 711 near station entrance it has a lotte atm so easy to get cash for international cards. Also it is smack bang in a very busy eating area especially at night & on weekends it all goes off & is noisy. But it’s super Easy to walk around & subway. Also 5mins to insadong & all the cafes. Perfect place to stay once I got my bearings & didn’t expect much of hotel staff.

Super value! Large western style rooms and huge bathtub was a surprise. No carpet in room which was nice and clean! Good location.

What an amazing hotel. As I read the reviews I was nervous about the room size but I can say I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. I had room 802. My sister and I both Americans were very happy with our stay. The room was plenty big and we had 8 suitcases as we had went shopping on our 1 month trip. Air conditioner worked without issue. Nice bedding, nice bathroom, room had refrigerator. So many options for meals. The subway was maybe a 3 minute walk away, the front desk was very helpful with recommendations, taxis and even helped order a pizza for us. I can’t say one negative thing. I highly recommend.

My first time staying in South Korea and this is the hotel I came across! Didn’t know what to expect but our stay had just what we needed. Air conditioning worked great, water ran well in the bathrooms, hotel was clean, bottled water was refilled when we requested room service and room was cleaned nicely. We ubered everywhere and it was easily accessible for them to drop us off near the hotel. It’s a short walk to a lot of wonderful places as well! We enjoyed our stay! (I will add the room was a bit small for the luggage we had but we made it work ◡̈ ) thank you for letting us stay here! - Miya Perdon from Texas!

Budget hotel in a shady street close to a nice and vibrant area.

The hotel was clean, front desk was very friendly and helpful to our needs. Even though the room was a bit small I would stay again.

Staff was very accommodating and very polite. Great english skills and my hotel room was clean and comfortable

Boutique hotel in quite ally. Super close to public transportation or walk to almost all touristic attractions, as it’s located in the middle of everything. Modern style easygoing and accessible stuff, clean and super convenient. Rooms are super small though so if you are looking for spending time in your room maybe not right place for you. Otherwise, highly recommending! Would stay here again!

Overall its a perfect area couldn't be better with 2 train stations next to each other and and many things to see by food. Unfortunately the room does not get cleaned unless you go directly to the reception . The door hanger wasnt enough... also the furniture looks bit old now and would need a good clean. Be aware the whole bathroom is a see-through bathroom. So from the bed you can see to the toilet and shower. It was a really expensive stay for a 2 star hotel and for that money i wouldnt recommend it again. Unless its the only choice , you cant make anything wrong here. And really nice service as well.

Very convenient area with lots of restaurants and convenience store, including an Olive Young, around the hotel. Less than 5 mins walk to Train and Bus stations. 1 bus ride away from Incheon Airport. Close to Tapgol Park and Jewelry shops around Jung-no area. Few blocks away from Myeongdong. Hotel room is well kept with free simple breakfast, daily water bottle refill. Just bring your own toothbrush. I’d definitely book this hotel again.

優點：前台服務員服務好，交通方便，酒店附近很多食店選擇 缺點：入住時沐浴間有牙膏，牙刷用過未清潔， 服務員很好幫更換房間，但更換房間窗口對住隔離大廈牆壁，完全沒有景觀 第二晚廁所淤塞，服務員很好幫忙整理，但之後如厠後廁紙不可掉進馬桶，要掉落垃圾桶，每日要把垃圾放出門口待清理。 住咗咁多次酒店，第一次這樣難忘
