AC Hotel Atocha by Marriott

The staff was so generous and patient with our group. They took such good care of us.

Very basic for a 4-star hotel. Really it's for business travellers staying for a day or two. Air con was poor, working but air flow was the issue. Fans on the highest setting but nothing much happening. Just about kept the room bearable during the heatwave! It's ok for an overnight stay but not really somewhere you would stay for an extended visit. Very good if you're planning on getting a train to or from Atocha however.

I stayed to times with one day in between, so checked in twice. Same girl helped me both times and she was really professional, very service oriented. Wish all hotel employees were like this. Really excellent.

Buena ubicación

Everything was good. We were put in another building which needed to go out of the main building. Suggested more sign to direct the route to the other building.

I liked the hotel staff very nice. I didn't like that the shower didnt have a door.

Booked through Hotels.com and as a result, gave early check-in to every single person instead of the folks that requested ahead of time multiple times and despite arriving at sunrise. Treated us like second rate travelers and gave everyone else an early check-in because they went thru Marriott

Clean and quiet hotel. Close to the train station. Staff are good. We had two bookings with different room types, they tried to let us stay in the same room throughout without changing rooms.

One day stay in order to get to Atocha train station next day! Nice hotel and personal, plenty of restaurants nearby!

The staff was helpful and friendly; the language differences didn’t matter as they all spoke English with us. The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Excelente estancia, muy bien ubicado, habitación muy cómoda, aunque hay que decir que si viajas con amigos o familiares el baño puede ser incómodo ya que es de cristal y pues se ve la gente bañando

We booked this hotel for its proximity to the train station. It was clean & comfortable. We felt comfortable walking in the evening to find dinner. Jesus, who checked us in was friendly and professional

Located on a side street on the quiet side of the train station (although some kind of garbage collectors or construction workers yelled at each other at 2am and woke me up). Entrance has one of those old fashioned revolving doors which was a bit small and I tripped and fell inside of it. Not sure why they don’t just have sliding glass doors like most hotels and public buildings. Otherwise hotel is nice: comfortable room and good breakfast buffet. My king bed room had a glass wall on shower so there was zero privacy from the main room. I was alone so it was fine, but if you are sharing a room you would need to not mind being seen while showering.

Right next to Puerta Atocha Station. Great service
