Barceló Jerez Montecastillo & Convention Center

There are lots of really great things about this hotel but so many things they could do better. The best thing is the staff, the receptionists are incredible, always smiling, cheerful, hardworking, efficient and knowledgeable, especially Marta who went an extra 2000 miles for us at check in and later on. She resolved so many things for us to make our stay better, always ready to assist no matter how many times we asked her for help, even arranging a surprise birthday cake for us at minimal notice, and always with a warmth and kindness that made us feel valued. She was incredible and you can tell she just tries to do her best for everybody and nothing is too much trouble for her. Also Jade who went out of her way too to try and organise a restaurant for 14 people, but all the receptionists were super friendly and helpful, I only know sobe of the names, Lucia, Patricia, Esperanza but there were more. The waiting staff in the restaurant and the bars were great, Rafa, Lopez, Nicolas, Diego but others whose names I didn’t learn, so friendly and efficient. The chefs who were always on hand to help with multiple food intolerance issues and offered to make different things for me, Roberto the assistant manager was always walking around the whole hotel making sure everything was ok, always friendly and helpful and I saw him dealing calmly with a difficult issue. I also noticed that he would step in and help staff in any area if they were busy/customers waiting.

Una estancia muy tranquila y placentera en pareja. la habitación ,limpia y en perfetas condiciones, con buena temperatura y las camas cómodas. Hubiera preferido una cama de matrimonio, en lugar de 2 camas individuales. El buffet a la altura de lo que se espera de un Barceló de 4 estrellas. Todo más que correcto.

I had a great time, I should have booked to stay longer because when I actually started enjoying this place was when “time’s up!!’’ Jade(Receptionist) and her colleagues were particularly helpful as they let me into my room earlier.
