Lovely quiet county retreat. The staff were so nice and food delicious. Wonderful area for hiking but note that wooded walks only straight from the hotel. Only a short drive to get to more open hiking. Great towns nearby too.

Formidable séjour, j'ai été charmé par ce superbe petit hôtel, le personnel a été très agréable, et je garderai un excellent souvenir de cet endroit où tout semble avoir été formidablement bien pensé.

The hotel was beautifully laid out with stunning views. The staff were above and beyond incredible. They couldn’t do enough to help. Always on hand and so amenable. I had the best stay and if I could rate 11/10 I would.

Location magical. Staff super friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel was beautiful and spacious. 5* all round, can’t wait to visit again.

Es un paraje único en la sierra, con un spa aceptable aunque algo caro para el estado en el que se encuentra, con utensilios rotos y chorros con baja e incluso nula potencia en algunos casos. El servicio fue muy amable pero tuvieron gestos que les hizo perder bastante a la experiencia; pedimos una botella de vino que vimos en carta por 24€ y nos pusieron de la misma bodega pero el doble de cara sin consultar. También preguntamos por copas de vermut, nos ofrecieron dos a elegir, Maset (que dijo la chica que era el bueno) y otro de menor calidad, no sabemos por qué pero nos cobraron la copa del de menor calidad al triple de precio, 11€ por una copa me parece excesivo. Lastima que estos episodios empañen un sitio que se ve tan reputado

This is a secluded mountain location. The staff are friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, it is a must if you are staying her to try the restaurant. There is a spa which I didn’t use.

Absolutely loved this property. It is located right in the mountains, very quiet and tranquil. The restaurant has one of the best food we tried on our trip around Spain. Highly recommend.

Entorno increible

Room and views were fabulous. The compromise for having super views and complete quietness was that the location was a little isolated. Great overnight stop if catching the Bilbao ferry back to England

Hotel en un enclave espectacular. Se respira paz, tranquilidad, sosiego, naturaleza; los únicos ruidos son los pajaritos y los cenceros de la ganadería. Habitación muy amplia, con balcón. En el que sentabas a leer un ratito y era muy agradable. Cuarto de baño con bañera de hidromasaje y luz natural. El desayuno es muy variado. Sentados en un salón con vistas a las montañas, para empezar el día con relajación. Las cenas son muy muy ricas, lo pagas, pero vale la pena. El spa, esta muy chulo y además es de uso individualizado por lo cual hay que reservar, coste adicional. Una hora se pasa muy muy rápido. El personal muy profesional. Recibimos un trato exquisito. No le encuentro ningún punto negativo.

It was alright. I was really looking forward to this hotel in our 7 day trip around northern Spain and basque but unfortunately it didn’t deliver. It was alright but I specifically booked it as it was a hotel and spa. What I didn’t understand when booking was that you had to pay additional to use the spa. And it was per person. My wife and I love spas. We got to the hotel for 4pm to take full advantage and use of the spa as the weather was not so nice. However, the spa was €30 per person and was for 1 hour. If we wanted to use the spa for 2 hours it would have cost €120! Seems a little wrong in my opinion. I understand the reasoning behind the reservation to have privacy but in off season when there were not very many guests at all….. it felt like a let down. I can imagine how beautiful it would have been if it wasn’t so cloudy and raining. Room was ok, TV was good! Literally all day and night sitting in our room watching TV. It was a shame. Felt isolated and limited which wasn’t good..

El entorno maravilloso y la disposición de las habitaciones con su terraza y vistas. Lo peor, el desayuno, no se corresonde con el precio.

Hotel excepcional en un paraje idiico, habitacion y baño amplios y confortables.Mobiliario clasico pero muy bien cuidado y de calidad desayuno y restaurante excelente a destacar la amabilidad y dedicación de todo el personla y la decoracion , con puertas de madera y figuras artesales .Una maravilla!!! solo me molestaron minimamante los cencerros de las vaquitas del prado adyacente

Lovely spot in the mountains, easy drive to both Bilbao and south. Amazing hosts, and the breakfast buffet had a lot of selection. Highly recommend staying here. The spa is an additional cost 20€ I believe, and the dinner seemed to be a set fee of 39€ but we didn’t eat as only stayed 1 night . Would definitely stay again for longer l

Une ARNAQUE !! FUYEZ Piscine couverte annoncée, donc on pense piscine inclue dans le prix de la nuitée et bien NON ! 25€/pers !! Ce n'est pas une piscine mais un mini bassin attenant au spa, donc payant !! De plus chambres très mal insonorisées, personnels pas sympa, déco surchargée et mélangée ôtant tout charme aux boiseries balinaises... Et enfin, loin, très loin, rien n'est à proximité... Donc demi-pension obligé !! 32€/menu

Mooi hotel in de bergen. De inrichting met antiek meubilair is smaakvol en komt niet oubollig over. De kamer was groot met prima badkamer. Na een wandeling is de spa (Turks bad, sauna, bubbelbad) ook aangenaam maar een uurtje voor €25 pp vinden we aan de dure kant. Het restaurant biedt voldoende afwisseling voor enkele dagen, een dat is fijn want er is verder niets in de buurt. Veel wandelmogelijkheden in de directe omgeving. Niet alle personeel verstaat Engels.
