Hotel Moonstone

Petite guestouhse très sympa. La chambre que nous avions avait un petit balcon. Le seul truc étrange, c’est qu’il n’y avait qu’un drap-housse et une polaire, sans drap... sinon, personnel très sympathique, désireux de rendre service.

1180/5000 Excellent hotel very modern and clean with three lovely employees. The room is not very big and the bathroom even less but sufficient. There was a balcony with two chairs and a small plastic table on the terrace. The wifi worked properly but it was still quite slow. Fortunately I had a motorcycle because the closest restaurant was 3,700 kilometers from this hotel. It is also very good, rich and not very expensive. A small bar of soap is only provided as a toiletry case. The towels are not very good. This hotel is located not far from all the archeological sites as well as the largest lake in the area. there are 5 in total but I found only two. The two biggest ones by the way. I recommend this hotel 3 stars for its tranquility because there is virtually no traffic on the road that borders and no dogs howling at night. I stayed there for three days. The mattress was really top quality compared to most other hotels I have been to so far in Sri Lanka. In spite of that I always had back pain.
